18+. Stake’s help center describes its welcome offer as rakeback of 3.5% of the house edge, activated by entering a valid affiliate code on the Offers page within 24 hours of opening an account. Without a code, rakeback starts at the Bronze VIP rank after $10,000 of wagering. Deposit bonuses on Stake’s code landing pages carry their own terms, such as 40x wagering on deposit plus bonus. Terms apply.

Is it legit?

Yes, Stake is a licensed casino. Medium Rare N.V. holds Curaçao license OGL/2024/1451/0918, shown as Active on the regulator's validator on September 14, 2026, though the regulator's September 14, 2026 register lists it as “Assessment in progress”.

Payout speed

Stake publishes no crypto withdrawal time. Its help center says larger withdrawals may need manual processing, and card and bank withdrawals take up to 3 business days.

Can I play from the US?

No, Stake.com does not accept US players. Its terms bar the whole United States, and stake.us is a separate sweepstakes site run by a different company.

License on Curaçao’s validator and register, plus Stake’s terms, bonus rules, VIP ranks and help center

Deposited and withdrew our own funds. Written by people who played, checked by someone who did not.

Stake scores 3.7 out of 5. Stake.com is a crypto casino and sportsbook run since 2017 by Medium Rare N.V., which holds Curaçao Gaming Authority license OGL/2024/1451/0918, granted in June 2025. It takes 21 cryptocurrencies, runs 24 provably fair Originals and lets you set your own loss, wager and deposit limits.

The license check holds the score down. On September 14, 2026 the regulator’s validator showed the license as Active, while the Curaçao register dated September 14, 2026 lists it with a June 9, 2026 expiry and a status of “Assessment in progress”. Stake’s own pages also describe its welcome offer in different ways, and the 200% matches on its code landing pages carry 40x wagering.

This Stake review covers who owns Stake, where it is allowed (45 jurisdictions are restricted, including the United States, the United Kingdom and Ontario), the welcome bonus and bonus codes, rakeback and the VIP ladder, the cashier and its identity checks, and the clauses we would read before depositing. We checked Stake’s terms, help center and policies on September 14, 2026. Some Stake pages blocked our checks, so a few figures come from Stake’s own content data or from Internet Archive copies, and those are dated where they appear.

Our verdict

What's good

  • Loss, wager and deposit limits you can set yourself
  • 21 cryptocurrencies, plus local-currency cards in some countries
  • 24 Stake Originals, all verifiable as provably fair
  • No maximum on crypto withdrawals, according to Stake's help center

What's not

  • The Curaçao register lists the license as “Assessment in progress”
  • The terms set no time limit on withdrawal delays during an investigation
  • 200% matches on Stake's code landing pages carry 40x wagering
  • 45 jurisdictions restricted, including the US, the UK and Ontario

Trust & Safety

Who owns Stake

Stake.com is owned and operated by Medium Rare N.V., registration number 145353, at Seru Loraweg 17 B, Curaçao, and clause 2.1 of the terms makes that company your contracting party. Medium Rare Limited (Nicosia, reg. HE 410775) and MRS Tech Ltd (Larnaca, reg. HE 477481), both in Cyprus, act as its payment agents. Stake’s anti-money-laundering policy says Medium Rare N.V. was established in 2017. The terms are governed by Curaçao law and give the courts of Curaçao exclusive jurisdiction, although the same clause lets Stake bring claims elsewhere.

Licensing

Stake.com operates under Curaçao Gaming Authority license OGL/2024/1451/0918. On September 14, 2026 the regulator’s certificate page showed the license for Medium Rare N.V. and stake.com as granted on June 9, 2025, with a current status of Active and no expiry date. The regulator’s license register dated September 14, 2026 lists the same license with an expiry of June 9, 2026 and a status of “Assessment in progress”, so the regulator’s two sources disagree. We found no link to the validator in the pages stake.com serves, and reached it through a web search.

Separate companies hold Stake’s local licenses: stake.bet.br in Brazil (SPA/MF ordinance No. 263), Stake Colombia S.A.S. for stake.com.co (Coljuegos contract 2226), Producciones Móviles S.A. de C.V. for Stake in Mexico (permit DGAJS/SCEVF/P-06/2005-TER) and stake.pe in Peru (licenses 4748-2024 and 4749-2024, according to Stake’s license page). Stake Denmark A/S is on the Danish regulator’s list for stake.dk. None of those licenses covers stake.com, and Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Denmark are all on stake.com’s restricted list. Stake is also listed as verified on the Crypto Gambling Foundation network.

Where Stake is allowed

Clause 14.3 of Stake’s terms bars anyone located in 45 jurisdictions, residents of other countries included: Afghanistan, Argentina, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, the Cayman Islands, Colombia, Croatia, Cuba, Curaçao, the Czech Republic, Cyprus, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Liberia, Libya, Lithuania, Malta, Mexico, the Netherlands, North Korea, Ontario, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, South Africa, South Sudan, Spain, Sudan, Syria, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the United States and Zimbabwe. The whole United States is restricted, so no US state is open on stake.com. In Canada only Ontario is named, and Stake’s help center documents Canadian dollar deposits and withdrawals for the rest of the country.

Stake’s own payment pages do not match that list. Its help center still shows euro card limits for Ireland and Croatia and rand card limits for South Africa, and Stake’s deposit guides cover Argentine pesos, Polish zloty and euros in Ireland, all in places clause 14.3 restricts. The terms are the contract you accept, so go by clause 14.3.

Clause 14.4 says hiding your real location with a VPN, proxy or similar service breaches the terms, and Stake says it detects IP masking. Stake can close or suspend the account and void bets, and when it closes an account for a breach, clause 4.21 lets it withhold any amounts in it, winnings included.

Security and fair play

Stake’s terms recommend two-factor authentication, and Stake says its site uses SSL encryption. Every Stake Original can be checked as provably fair, on Stake’s own verification page or on third-party sites. Stake’s AML policy says wallets are screened with Chainalysis, and ID and age checks go through a third-party provider it does not name.

Reputation and player reviews

On September 14, 2026 Trustpilot scored Stake 3.9 out of 5 from 11,689 reviews, 5,969 of them from the last 12 months. The profile showed replies to 98% of negative reviews and a notice that the company has received regulatory attention. An archived copy of the profile from March 10, 2026 showed 14,870 reviews. We have not counted player complaints about Stake for this review.

Terms that decide whether you get paid

  • If Stake reasonably suspects a breach, it can delay or decline withdrawals while it investigates, with no time limit stated, and may not be able to explain why (clause 8.2).
  • If Stake finds more than one account, it can close all of them, keep the money in them and ban you (clause 4.9).
  • If your registration details are incomplete, Stake reserves the right to treat deposits as invalid and void winnings (clause 4.3).
  • If you pay with someone else’s payment method, or with funds Stake treats as tainted, Stake reserves the right to forfeit deposits and winnings (clause 7.7).
  • Stake can change the house edge of any slot without notice (clause 10.5).
  • Management’s decision on a dispute is final and cannot be appealed (clause 13.1).
  • The terms can change at any time without advance notice (clauses 3.4 and 24.1).
  • Stake names no independent dispute service and publishes no complaint timelines.

I trust Stake about as much as I trust any crypto brand. Its Danish license doesn't come into it, because it covers stake.dk and Denmark is restricted on stake.com. The regulator's validator shows the Curaçao license as Active while its own September register lists it under assessment, and the terms set no time limit on holding a withdrawal during an investigation. I would get verified before depositing anything I could not afford to see held.

Stake welcome offer

  • Offer: rakeback of 3.5% of the house edge from sign-up, according to Stake’s help center
  • How to claim: enter a valid affiliate code on the Offers page within 24 hours of opening your account
  • Without a code: rakeback starts at the Bronze VIP rank, after $10,000 of wagering
  • Deposit match: not named in Stake’s welcome offer article, although its deposit bonus article works an example of a $100 deposit with a $100 bonus at 30x, and Stake’s content system holds a hidden “Exclusive deposit bonus” of 200% up to $2,000 on a $10 to $1,000 first deposit
  • Wagering on rakeback: none stated in Stake’s help center
  • Code: an affiliate code, entered on the Offers page

Stake’s pages disagree on what new players get. The help center describes the rakeback offer above, Stake’s terms of service do not mention a welcome bonus, bonus code or promo code, and the 200% deposit bonus in Stake’s content system is marked hidden and missing from the archived promotions page. Separate code landing pages, dated between June 2025 and July 2026, carry their own 200% matches at 40x wagering on deposit plus bonus.

The 40x term on those landing pages is the one to judge. On a $100 deposit a 200% match adds $200, and 40x on deposit plus bonus means ($100 + $200) x 40 = $12,000 of bets before you can withdraw. Stake’s deposit bonus rules count bets against a 4% house edge, so a game with a 1% edge counts $0.25 of every $1 wagered, and clearing the same requirement on it takes $48,000 of bets. On a game that keeps $4 of every $100, $12,000 of bets costs about $480 on average for a $200 bonus.

Stake’s help center example uses 30x and says the multiplier varies with your affiliate and the bonus type, so read the multiplier on your own offer before you deposit. Stake’s general deposit bonus rules exclude all 24 Stake Originals, Stake Poker and a long list of third-party slots while a bonus is active, although some landing pages say all casino and sportsbook games count, and withdrawals are denied until the wagering is complete.

How Stake rakeback works

Stake rakeback returns 3.5% of the house edge on casino games and 3.5% of the rake on poker. On sports it pays 3.5% of a bet’s theoretical value at a 3% edge, and voided and cashed-out sports bets do not count.

In dollars, a slot that keeps $4 of every $100 wagered pays 14 cents back per $100, and a $100 sports bet earns about 10.5 cents. Rakeback starts at the Bronze VIP rank, after $10,000 of wagering, unless an affiliate code switches it on at sign-up, and you can claim it from the VIP page at any time. Stake’s help center states no wagering on rakeback.

Weekly and monthly bonuses, races and raffles

The weekly boost is posted in Stake’s VIP Telegram channel on Saturdays at 12:30 GMT, can be claimed from the VIP tab 24 hours later, and carries no wagering. Its size depends on your VIP rank, your last 7 days of wagering and the house edge of what you played, and only VIPs who played in the previous week get one.

The monthly bonus arrives by email around the middle of the month for players with a verified email who subscribe to Stake’s emails, and its coupon lasts 3 months. Two Stake help articles disagree on whether you can claim it without receiving that email.

Stake runs a $100,000 daily race over 24 hours in which the top 5,000 players win, and a weekly raffle that gives one ticket per $1,000 wagered on the casino or sportsbook. Stake’s VIP page puts the raffle at $75,000, while one help article says $50,000 or $75,000. Bonus Drops, birthday coupons for verified players and level-up bonuses from support or a VIP host come on top. Stake’s promotion data on September 14, 2026 also listed Wheel Wars, the Weekly Treasure Hunt, Conquer the Casino, a $1M Bad Beat Jackpot and Stake Shield.

Stake VIP program

Stake’s help center ranks players by total wagering, with sports bets counting 3x toward progress, across 15 levels:

  • Bronze: $10,000 wagered, and rakeback starts
  • Silver and Gold: $50,000 and $100,000
  • Platinum I to III: $250,000, $500,000 and $1,000,000, with a one-off reload for 14, 28 or 42 days on reaching each rank
  • Platinum IV to VI: $2,500,000, $5,000,000 and $10,000,000, with permanent reloads and a dedicated VIP host from Platinum IV
  • Diamond I to V: $25 million, $50 million, $100 million, $250 million and $500 million
  • Obsidian: $1 billion

Reloads can be claimed once every 24 hours, and a missed claim expires. Stake’s VIP page describes VIP bonuses as instantly withdrawable, but it shows a shorter ladder that groups Platinum I to III as $250,000 to $2.5 million, ends at Diamond and has no Obsidian rank, so the VIP page and the help center disagree from Platinum up.

Over my first 2 weeks the rakeback added up nicely, and I like that the weekly boost comes with no wagering. The welcome side is where I would slow down. Stake's own pages describe the welcome offer two different ways, and the 200% matches on Stake's code landing pages carry 40x on deposit plus bonus, so I would read the terms attached to my own code before depositing.

Casino Games & Sports

Slots

Stake says it has over 3,000 casino games, on a Canadian sign-up page updated April 15, 2026, and a Stake page from November 20, 2025 says over 3,000 slots. Stake’s own Trustpilot description says over 2,000 games, and Stake publishes no provider count. We could not count the library ourselves, because Stake’s sitemap and casino lobby blocked our checks.

Stake’s homepage FAQ names Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, Twist Gaming and Evolution, and Stake’s deposit bonus rules list slots from NetEnt, Play’n GO, Red Tiger, BGaming, Push Gaming, Relax Gaming, Yggdrasil, ELK, Big Time Gaming, Playtech, Quickspin and Thunderkick among others. Clause 10.5 of the terms lets Stake change the house edge of any slot without notice.

Stake Originals

Stake Originals are 24 in-house games: Blackjack, Bars, Cases, Chicken, Crash, Darts, Dice, Drill, Dragon Tower, Flip, Hilo, Keno, Limbo, Mines, Moles, Packs, Primedice, Plinko, Pump, Rock Paper Scissors, Slide, Snakes, Tarot and Zoo. All of them can be verified as provably fair. Stake’s house edge guide, updated May 28, 2026, gives no figure for each Original. Stake’s deposit bonus rules say most of its games carry a 3.5% to 4.5% house edge, which keeps $3.50 to $4.50 of every $100 wagered.

Crash and the other Originals have limits per currency, such as a maximum bet of 100 BTC with a maximum profit of 20 BTC, or 25,000,000 USDT with a maximum profit of 2,500,000 USDT, and the minimum bet is $0.0001. Stake’s general deposit bonus rules exclude every Original while a bonus is active.

Live casino and table games

Stake names Evolution among its providers and publishes no list of live studios or table counts in the pages we could read. Blackjack is one of the Originals, and Stake also runs Stake Poker and rummy, which have their own sections in its help center. Stake Poker is excluded while a deposit bonus is active.

Stake sportsbook

Stake’s sportsbook shares one account with the casino. Its homepage FAQ names the major football and basketball leagues, esports including Dota 2 and CS:GO, live betting and free live streaming, and Stake’s sportsbook rules name 30 sports, including F1, MotoGP, NASCAR, darts, snooker, Aussie rules and alpine skiing, plus all other sports. An older Stake promotion page says the book covers over 170,000 events a year.

Stake Shield is a flexi multi option for bets with 3 or more legs. The rules let Stake void a bet whose payout is more than 100% above the market average, matches not completed within 48 hours are void, and voided bets do not count toward VIP progress.

Whatever I went looking for, the newest Hacksaw release or an old NetEnt favorite, was there, and I sat in on a few live tables during my week of testing. Stake says the library tops 3,000 games, so I would not repeat the bigger numbers I have seen quoted for it. The Originals and the sportsbook are the parts I would single out, and every Original can be verified as provably fair.

Payments & Withdrawals

Deposits

Stake’s help center lists 21 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, USDT, USDC, Solana, XRP, Dogecoin and Tron, plus BCH, EOS, BNB, APE, CRO, DAI, LINK, SAND, SHIB, UNI, POL and TRUMP. Stake’s homepage FAQ says 20.

USDT runs on ERC20, BEP20, Polygon, TRC20 and Solana, and XRP and EOS deposits need a memo or tag. Stake does not support the Arbitrum, Optimism, Base or Cronos networks. Crypto deposits under $0.01 are not processed automatically, and there is no maximum crypto deposit. Stake’s cashier includes XRP, TRX and LTC, and our pages on XRP casinos, Tron casinos and Litecoin casinos compare other sites that take each one.

Without crypto, you can buy coins in the wallet through MoonPay or Swapped. In some countries Stake takes Visa and Mastercard in the local currency, with limits such as 5 to 3,000 Canadian dollars in Canada, 5 to 1,000 New Zealand dollars in New Zealand, and $5 to $1,000 in listed countries including Ecuador and Panama. Card deposits are near real time but can take 1 to 3 business days, and bank transfer deposits take up to 24 hours. Players in Canada outside Ontario can withdraw by Interac through Payper Inc., and players in India can deposit in rupees.

Withdrawals

Every deposit has to be wagered once before you can withdraw it, in crypto or local currency (clauses 8.5 and 8.10). Stake publishes no processing time for crypto withdrawals, and its help center says larger withdrawals may need manual processing. Card withdrawals go back only to the card you deposited with and take up to 3 business days, and bank transfer and Interac withdrawals also take up to 3 business days.

Fees are set per coin, such as 1 USDT on a 2.5 USDT minimum or 0.00001571 BTC on a 0.00002504 BTC minimum, and clause 8.9 lets Stake charge a withdrawal fee at its discretion. Stake’s local-currency guide calls crypto transactions free from transaction fees, which the per-coin fee table contradicts.

Identity checks before a withdrawal

Stake’s terms let it ask for identity checks at any time and refuse a withdrawal until your identity is verified (clauses 4.8 and 8.1), and extra checks are possible on any withdrawal. Its AML policy suspends an account that reaches a risk-based withdrawal threshold until checks are done, and Stake does not disclose that amount. Stake needs email and account verification before a crypto deposit, and players in Canada must verify their identity before a first withdrawal in Canadian dollars.

Stake’s English help center defines Level 1 verification, and a Stake landing page for Brazil describes Level 2 as an approved ID. Stake accepts a passport, or a national ID or driver’s license photographed on both sides, valid for at least 3 more months.

Stake can also ask for proof of address issued within the last 6 months (mobile phone bills are not accepted), a selfie holding your ID, and proof of income such as 3 to 6 months of bank statements. Stake publishes no deadline for completing a check. If Stake cannot verify your identity or source of funds, it can close the account and withhold the balance (clauses 4.19 and 4.21).

Withdrawal limits

Stake’s help center says there is no maximum crypto withdrawal amount. Minimums are set per coin and shown on the withdrawal screen, and Stake may pay back through your deposit method, split a withdrawal, or reject and merge several pending requests (clauses 8.3 and 8.8). The ceilings that matter most apply to play. Each Original caps profit per currency, and third-party games are capped by each game’s own maximum multiplier. Withdrawals and tips are blocked while a deposit bonus is active.

I funded my account in seconds, and my crypto withdrawals cleared quickly once they were approved. Stake publishes no withdrawal time of its own, so I would not treat that as a promise. What I would plan around is the rule that every deposit is wagered once before a withdrawal, and an identity check triggered at a threshold Stake does not disclose, so I would get verified before I had a win waiting.

User Experience

Stake app

Stake has an iOS app on the App Store, listed with Medium Rare N.V. and TGP Europe Limited as the seller. On September 14, 2026 it was available in the Canadian, Brazilian and Venezuelan App Stores but not in the US store, and on Android, Stake’s own guide installs its web app from the browser, with no native Android download. Be careful with any app offered as Stake’s on another site.

Stake login, sign-up and official domains

Stake’s official casino domain is stake.com, and its help center lists four official mirror sites that use the same account: playstake.club, playstake.info, playstake.io and playstake.casino. Stake’s local sites in Brazil (stake.bet.br), Peru (stake.pe) and Denmark (stake.dk) and the sweepstakes site stake.us are run by separate companies. The domain stake.pr appears on neither the mirror list nor Stake’s license page.

Sign-up takes an email and password, or a Google, Facebook, Line, Twitch or Kick account, and Stake requires email verification. Stake’s help center covers two-factor authentication and password resets, and live chat only opens once you are logged in.

Customer service

Stake offers 24/7 live chat and email at [email protected], and account closures go to [email protected]. Stake says it operates in 15 languages, and its help center is published in 17, with 142 articles in English. Complaints go to live chat or email. The terms say Stake will try to resolve them promptly, but they give no timeline and name no independent dispute service.

Responsible gambling

Stake Smart, Stake’s responsible gambling section, offers these tools:

  • Loss and wager limits: daily, weekly or monthly, applied at once when set or lowered, with a 24-hour wait to raise them
  • Deposit limit: daily only and set in US dollars, with a 24-hour wait to raise or remove it. Crypto sent over the limit is held in a withholding balance
  • Product exclusion: casino or sportsbook for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or indefinitely, and the fixed periods cannot be reversed
  • Break in Play: 1 day, 1 week or 1 month, with 2 days also listed in one help article, and the account reopens automatically
  • Self-exclusion: indefinite, with a minimum of 6 months before you can ask by email to return
  • Poker exclusion: through support, for 1 day up to 1 year, or indefinitely
  • Account closure: self-service, with reopening possible after a 24-hour cool-off, and accounts cannot be fully deleted

Promotional entries and wagers made during self-exclusion are forfeited. Stake links Gamblers Anonymous, Gambling Therapy, the National Council on Problem Gambling and Gamtalk, and blocking tools including Betblocker, Netnanny and Gamblock. Our responsible gambling guide covers the limits you can set up yourself before you deposit.

In plain terms

  • 18+, or the higher legal age where you live.
  • Identity checks can come at any time. Stake can refuse a withdrawal until you are verified, and a withdrawal threshold it does not disclose triggers checks.
  • Crypto transfers need the right network. Stake does not support Arbitrum, Optimism, Base or the Cronos network, and XRP and EOS need a memo or tag.
  • The welcome offer is 3.5% rakeback with an affiliate code entered within 24 hours, per Stake's help center, and 200% matches on Stake's code landing pages carry 40x on deposit plus bonus.
  • Every deposit must be wagered once before you can withdraw it.
  • 45 jurisdictions are restricted. They include the US, the UK, Australia, France and Ontario, and using a VPN to hide your location breaches the terms.
  • Withdrawals can be delayed during an investigation with no time limit stated, and Stake may not explain why (clause 8.2).
  • Dispute decisions are final. Management's decision cannot be appealed, and the courts of Curaçao have jurisdiction.
  • Winnings may be taxable where you live. Keep your own records.
  • We may be paid when you sign up through a link on this page. It doesn't change the score.

The layout is so familiar I found my way around it in under 10 seconds, play on my phone was smooth throughout, and I got a quick, competent reply from support both times I reached out. The limits are what I would point a new player to, because you can set loss, wager and deposit limits yourself. I would like the deposit limit to come in weekly and monthly versions, as the loss limit does.

Stake bonus codes come from three places: affiliate codes that attach a welcome offer to a new account, Bonus Drop codes that Stake posts on its social channels, and codes printed on Stake’s own landing pages. Stake’s terms of service do not mention a bonus code, promo code or welcome bonus, and Stake’s hidden 200% deposit bonus shows no code. Stake’s pages give three different claim routes, which are entering a code on the Offers page, messaging live support, or depositing through the promotion’s own link.

A Stake affiliate code activates the welcome offer that Stake’s help center describes, 3.5% of the house edge back as rakeback, as long as you enter it on the Offers page within 24 hours of opening your account. Stake says new players redeem that offer with a code provided by its affiliates, which is what a Stake referral code is. Codes on Stake’s own landing pages add deposit matches with their own terms. One offers 200% on a deposit of $100 to $1,000 at 40x on deposit plus bonus, with a maximum bet of 1% of the deposit, credited 24 to 48 hours after review. Another offers 200% on $20 to $200 at 40x, and a separate rakeback page offers 3.5% rakeback on sign-up through live support, skipping the $10,000 of wagering that Bronze normally needs. These pages carry dates between June 2025 and July 2026 in Stake’s content system, and we could not confirm which codes still work, so read the terms attached to yours before you deposit.

Bonus Drop codes are case-sensitive codes that Stake posts on Telegram, on X and during Eddie’s stream. Stake’s help center says your account needs a set amount of wagering over the previous 7 days to redeem one. We do not list daily drop codes on this page.

Final Verdict

Stake has run since 2017, and one account covers a lot of ground. The cashier takes 21 cryptocurrencies plus local-currency cards and bank transfers in some countries, the casino runs 24 provably fair Originals alongside third-party slots and live tables, the sportsbook rules name 30 sports, and the VIP ladder runs from Bronze at $10,000 to Obsidian at $1 billion of wagering. Its responsible gambling tools include loss, wager and daily deposit limits you set yourself, casino or sportsbook exclusions from 24 hours to indefinite, and self-exclusion for at least 6 months.

The license and the terms hold the score down. The Curaçao regulator’s validator showed license OGL/2024/1451/0918 as Active on September 14, 2026, while its register dated September 14, 2026 lists the license under assessment after a June 9, 2026 expiry. The terms let Stake delay withdrawals during an investigation with no time limit stated, withhold funds from accounts it closes for a breach, and treat management’s dispute decisions as final. Stake’s own pages describe its welcome offer in different ways, and the 200% matches on its code landing pages carry 40x wagering on deposit plus bonus.

A crypto player outside the 45 restricted jurisdictions who wants a large sportsbook, Originals and limits they can set themselves in one account will find all three at Stake. Anyone who wants an independent dispute service, or a welcome bonus with its wagering printed on the offer, won’t find either at Stake. Stake scores 3.7 out of 5.

How to Sign Up at Stake

Opening a Stake account takes an email and password, or a Google, Facebook, Line, Twitch or Kick account, and Stake asks you to verify your email. If you have an affiliate code, Stake’s help center says to enter it on the Offers page within 24 hours of opening the account. You must be 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. Stake can ask for identity checks at any time, so have your ID and a proof of address from the last 6 months ready before you deposit much.

How to Register at Stake

Stake asks for an email and password, or a linked social account, to register.

  1. Go to stake.com and click Register.
  2. Enter an email and password, or sign up with a Google, Facebook, Line, Twitch or Kick account.
  3. Verify your email and, if you have one, enter an affiliate code on the Offers page within 24 hours.
  4. Turn on two-factor authentication, then open the wallet and make your first deposit.

How to Log In at Stake

Log in at stake.com with the email and password you registered, or with the Google, Facebook, Line, Twitch or Kick account you signed up with. If you turned on two-factor authentication, enter your two-factor code, and if you have forgotten your password, the reset option emails you a link. Stake’s help center lists playstake.club, playstake.info, playstake.io and playstake.casino as official mirror sites that use the same account, and a login page on any other look-alike domain is not on that list. Live chat only opens once you are logged in, so if you are locked out, email [email protected].

It takes 21 cryptocurrencies plus local-currency cards and bank transfers in some countries, runs 24 provably fair Stake Originals alongside third-party slots and live tables, and ranks players in a VIP program with rakeback and reloads. Stake says it has over 3,000 casino games.

Who owns Stake?

Stake is owned and operated by Medium Rare N.V., registration number 145353, at Seru Loraweg 17 B, Curaçao. Is Stake legal in the US?

No, Stake.com does not accept players in the United States. Clause 14.3 of its terms bars anyone located anywhere in the US. Stake.us is a separate sweepstakes casino run by Sweepsteaks Limited of Cyprus, with no purchase necessary, for players 21 and over in the continental US and Hawaii, and its terms exclude 22 states including New York, California and Michigan. Our sweepstakes casinos guide explains how that model works.

Is Stake available in Canada?

Yes, Stake is available in Canada, except Ontario. Clause 14.3 of the terms names Ontario as a prohibited jurisdiction, and Stake’s help center documents Canadian dollar deposits by card and bank transfer, and withdrawals including Interac, for the rest of the country. A Canada-only “Deposit $10, get $10” offer on a Stake page required a deposit before June 1, 2026 and has expired.

How do I spot a fake Stake site?

The way to spot a fake Stake site is to check the domain against Stake’s own lists. The casino is at stake.com, and Stake’s help center names four official mirrors that use the same account: playstake.club, playstake.info, playstake.io and playstake.casino. Stake’s licensed local sites include stake.bet.br and stake.pe, and stake.dk and stake.us are separate sites run by other companies. The domain stake.pr is on neither Stake’s mirror list nor its license page.

Is there a Stake bonus code?

Yes, there are Stake bonus codes, in the form of affiliate codes that attach a welcome offer and Bonus Drop codes posted on Stake’s social channels. Stake’s hidden 200% deposit bonus shows no code, and Stake’s terms of service do not mention bonus codes. Codes on Stake’s own landing pages carry 200% matches at 40x wagering on deposit plus bonus.

What is a Stake Bonus Drop code?

A Stake Bonus Drop code is a case-sensitive code that Stake posts on Telegram, on X and during Eddie’s stream. Stake’s help center says your account needs a set amount of wagering over the previous 7 days to redeem one.

Does Stake have a referral code?

A Stake referral code is an affiliate code, and Stake says new players redeem its welcome offer with a code from its affiliates. Stake’s help center says the code goes on the Offers page within 24 hours of opening an account and activates 3.5% of the house edge back as rakeback. Each affiliate’s code can carry different terms.

Does Stake have a welcome bonus?

Yes, Stake has a welcome offer, and its own pages describe it in different ways. Stake’s help center says new players get rakeback of 3.5% of the house edge by entering an affiliate code on the Offers page within 24 hours of sign-up. A 200% deposit bonus of up to $2,000 sits in Stake’s content system marked hidden, and 200% matches on Stake’s code landing pages carry 40x on deposit plus bonus, which is $12,000 of bets on a $100 deposit.

How does the Stake VIP program work?

The Stake VIP program ranks players by how much they wager, from Bronze at $10,000 to Obsidian at $1 billion in Stake’s help center, with sports bets counting 3x. Bronze starts rakeback, Platinum ranks add reloads, and a dedicated VIP host comes at Platinum IV, after $2,500,000 of wagering. Stake’s VIP page shows a shorter ladder with no Obsidian rank, so the two pages disagree.

How fast are Stake withdrawals?

Stake withdrawals have no published time for crypto, and card and bank transfer withdrawals take up to 3 business days. Stake’s help center says larger crypto withdrawals may need manual processing. Every deposit has to be wagered once before you can withdraw it, and there is no maximum crypto withdrawal.

Does Stake require KYC?

Yes, Stake requires identity checks. Its terms let Stake ask for verification at any time and refuse a withdrawal until you are verified, and its AML policy suspends accounts that reach a risk-based withdrawal threshold it does not disclose. Stake accepts a passport, national ID or driver’s license valid for at least 3 more months, and can also ask for proof of address, a selfie holding your ID and proof of income.

Can I use a VPN on Stake?

No, you cannot use a VPN on Stake. Clause 14.4 of the terms says hiding your location with a VPN or proxy breaches the terms, and Stake can close or suspend the account, void bets and, when it closes an account for a breach, withhold the balance, winnings included.

Does Stake have a sportsbook?

Yes, Stake has a sportsbook on the same account as the casino. It covers the major football and basketball leagues, esports such as Dota 2 and CS:GO, live betting and free live streaming, and its rules name 30 sports, including F1, MotoGP, NASCAR, darts and snooker.

What are Stake Originals?

Stake Originals are Stake’s 24 in-house games, including Crash, Dice, Plinko, Mines, Limbo, Blackjack, Keno and Hilo, and every one of them can be verified as provably fair. Stake publishes no house edge per Original on the pages we could read, and its deposit bonus rules say most of its games carry a 3.5% to 4.5% house edge, which keeps $3.50 to $4.50 of every $100 wagered.

Sites like Stake: find the best Stake alternatives

If Stake's license status, its restricted list or its bonus terms put you off, these are the sites like Stake we would look at next.

What changed

Every revision to this review, newest first. We publish it so you can see what we re-checked and when.

  1. Rebuilt on the new review template. License OGL/2024/1451/0918 checked on the Curaçao Gaming Authority validator (Active on September 14, 2026) and its register dated September 14, 2026 (Assessment in progress); clause 14.3, the welcome promotion, deposit bonus rules, VIP ranks, payments and responsible gambling tools rechecked against stake.com, its help center and Stake's published content. Corrected the Danish license claim (that license belongs to Stake Denmark A/S for stake.dk, and Denmark is restricted on stake.com), the welcome offer (Stake's help center describes 3.5% rakeback with an affiliate code, and 200% deposit bonuses sit on hidden and code pages, where the old review said there was no bonus), the game count (Stake says over 3,000, not 4,000+), the Trustpilot rating (3.9, not 4.0) and reply rate, and the reload and opt-in descriptions, and removed the unsourced Formula 1 sponsorship and 2023 wallet exploit claims.
