Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure

We earn revenue in two main ways: advertising, and affiliate commissions. Both keep the site free for readers. Neither buys a place in our recommendations. We think you have a right to know how a site like ours is funded, so here is the plain version.

Many of the links to casinos and sportsbooks on our pages are affiliate links. If you click one and then sign up or deposit with that operator, we may receive a commission from the operator or its affiliate network. This happens at no extra cost to you. The bonuses, odds and terms you get are exactly the same as if you had gone to the operator directly. You never pay more for using our links, and you are never obliged to use them.

This is the part that matters most. An operator cannot pay us to improve its rating, climb our rankings, soften a verdict or remove a criticism. Our editorial team produces ratings and recommendations independently, based on testing and our published Review Process, and they are kept separate from our commercial arrangements. If a brand we earn commission from performs badly, we say so and we rank it accordingly. We would rather lose the commission than mislead you.

We may also display advertising, and we may feature operators in promoted placements. Where a placement is paid, we keep the line between advertising and editorial clear, so you can tell the difference between an ad and our genuine assessment. Paid placement never changes the verdicts and scores in our reviews.

When you click an affiliate link, the operator or its network may set a cookie or pass a tracking parameter so the sign-up can be attributed to us for payment. We explain exactly what this involves, and the limited data it uses, in our Privacy Policy. Non-essential tracking is only used where you have given consent.

We are upfront about being an affiliate because transparency is part of being trustworthy, not the opposite of it. Our recommendations are based on hands-on testing, verified facts and clear criteria, and our funding model is disclosed rather than hidden. That combination, openness about the money and rigour in the reviews, is how we keep your trust.
