Celsius Casino Review 2026: Check the License

Licensing & Security

The operating company is published, which is more than a lot of crypto casinos manage. Celsius Casino is owned and operated by Celsius Holdings N.V., registration number 157856, at Zuikertuintjeweg Z/N in Willemstad, Curaçao. The license is where it goes wrong. Its terms claim License No. 365/JAZ issued by Gaming Services Provider N.V., a sublicense from the old Curaçao master-license regime the island retired when it moved to direct licensing at the end of 2024. The footer, its seal and the site’s own casino-details table say it is licensed by Anjouan.

I looked the Anjouan one up. Celsius Holdings N.V. does hold license ALSI-152406052-FI4, covering celsiuscasino.com, and the register lists its expiry as July 1, 2026. The register and the seal on the site both still read “valid”, but the register says “valid” on every entry it holds, including the three hundred or so whose dates have already run out.

None of that means the casino is doing anything wrong today. Licenses lapse and get renewed, and registers run behind. But I’d like a cleaner paper trail if I’m honest.

Encryption & Security

Security is reasonable, with SSL across the site and standard account protections. Celsius’s AML policy makes identity verification a condition of any withdrawal, and it asks for photo ID and proof of address once your deposits or withdrawals reach about €2,000, or sooner at its discretion. Have the documents ready before your first bigger cashout.

Reputation & Player Reviews

Reputation is the worst part of this review. Trustpilot has suspended the rating on the brand’s own profile, so its 675 reviews carry no score at all, and the reason Trustpilot gives is not vague: “We’ve removed a number of fake reviews for this company.” The distribution gives it away, with 65% five-star against 26% one-star and almost nothing in between, which is the shape manipulated reviews tend to make.

The one-star reports are specific. One player describes an account blocked holding €11,000 with no reply to a year of emails, and a ban from the operator’s Discord for asking there. Another reports being told to clear a 3x wagering requirement on a plain deposit with no bonus taken. My own testing was smooth, but other people don’t seem to have the same experience.

General Terms

The terms are standard for the space. The main things to read are the welcome-bonus wagering and the circumstances under which verification can be requested, since that’s the practical detail that decides how fast your first bigger cashout lands.

The general bonus terms fill in the gaps. Any bonus needs a deposit of at least $10 unless the offer says otherwise, Jackpot Slots cannot be played with bonus money, and buying bonus features or covering 18 or more Roulette spots counts as abuse. You can also turn a bonus down by removing it on the offers page before your first bet.

Ongoing Bonuses

There are reloads and free spins alongside the usual crypto-casino promotions running regularly. They are solid rather than spectacular, keeping regulars ticking over without the elaborate rakeback or token systems of the bigger brands.

VIP / Loyalty Program

A loyalty scheme rewards steady play with perks and better terms as you climb. It’s a straightforward setup that does the job, in keeping with the no-frills feel of the rest of the site.

Wagering Requirements

Wagering is 40x on the first two deposits and 45x on the third, with 45x on the fourth, all counted on deposit plus bonus, with a €5 maximum bet and 20 days to finish. That is standard for the space rather than generous. Read the bonus terms before opting in, and note clause 1.17, which waives the rest of the wagering if you lose the whole deposit and bonus.

Withdrawals

Withdrawals are genuinely fast, and this is Celsius’s best feature. Crypto cashouts were processed in under an hour during testing, among the quicker turnarounds in the segment, although Celsius wants your identity verified before any payout and asks for documents from about €2,000. That speed is the main reason to use the site, but it’s not the whole picture.

The complaint that recurs on the brand’s Trustpilot file is not slow payouts but blocked accounts holding a balance, including one for €11,000 left unanswered for a year. Fast when it pays isn’t the same as reliable and safe.

Withdrawal Limits

Withdrawals are capped at €10,000 a month, dropping to €5,000 a month once your balance is 10 times your total deposits. That is plenty for most players, but a big winner gets paid out over several months.

The minimum withdrawal is €10 a transaction, and the terms send a withdrawal back to the method you deposited with unless Celsius agrees otherwise. The bonus terms also let it split a win of up to €10,000 into weekly payments of up to €2,500.

Website Design and UI

Everything on the site sits a click away, and pages load quickly. It’s functional rather than flashy, but it does the job well and never got in my way.

Mobile App

Celsius has no native app. The site runs in your phone’s browser instead, smoothly on both iOS and Android in my testing, and that is all most players will need.

Customer Service

Support is a highlight. The 24/7 live chat answered within a few minutes in my testing, which is faster than many bigger rivals manage, and the responses were helpful.

Live chat is not the only route. Celsius lists [email protected] in its AML and Responsible Gambling policies, and if a complaint to support goes nowhere, its terms name Gaming Services Provider N.V. as the body to take it to. Bonus questions can go the same way, as the bonus terms point you to email or live chat if a promotion is unclear.

Responsible Gambling

The standard responsible-gambling tools, deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion, are present in basic form. The essentials are covered, though I’d like them featured a little more prominently.
