MrQ Expands UK Online Casino Offering Through Octoplay Partnership
UK online casino operator MrQ has expanded its gaming portfolio by introducing titles from casino software developer Octoplay, marking another step in the supplier’s continued growth within the British iGaming market.
The agreement makes MrQ the 13th UK operator to partner with Octoplay, adding to the developer’s existing relationships with major gambling brands, including Paddy Power, Betfair and bet365.
Octoplay has been licensed to supply online casino content in Great Britain since March 2023 and has steadily increased its presence in the regulated market.
MrQ Highlights Game Quality in Octoplay Agreement
MrQ said its decision to introduce Octoplay’s games reflects the company’s focus on selecting content that appeals to its customer base rather than simply increasing the number of titles available.
Daniel Pascoe, senior casino manager at MrQ, stated “We’re picky about what goes in our lobby. Every game has to earn its place with our players, not just fill a slot”.
He added that Octoplay’s games had already demonstrated their appeal following their introduction to the platform.
“Octoplay have done exactly that. Their games are sharp, built with UK players in mind, and since going live, they’ve become a genuine part of the MrQ mix.”
Octoplay Strengthens Position in British iGaming Market
For Octoplay, the agreement represents another addition to its growing network of UK gambling operators.
The developer has placed particular importance on the British market, having launched its first casino game in the country.
Ralitsa Georgieva, chief executive officer of Octoplay, said the UK continues to influence the company’s approach to game development and commercial partnerships.
“We launched our first game in the UK, so this market sets the standard for everything we build,” Georgieva said.
Octoplay Continues International Expansion
The MrQ partnership follows further international progress for Octoplay, including its expansion into the regulated US online gambling market.
In September, the supplier received authorisation to operate in Pennsylvania, strengthening its presence in the American iGaming sector.
