Crown Coins Casino Review [Updated for 2025]

Launched in 2023 by Sunflower Limited, Crown Coins Casino has quickly climbed the ranks to become one of the most trusted and highly praised sweepstakes casinos out there.

Its impressive 4.7/5 rating on Trustpilot convinced me and many others to give it a try. With partnerships with top-tier game developers like Pragmatic Play and Microgaming, Crown Coins delivers an exciting library of over 450 games, paired with low minimum redemption limits that make it stand out in the crowded sweeps casino scene.

Intrigued by its offerings and armed with a generous no-deposit bonus of 100,000 Crown Coins plus 2 Sweeps Cash, I decided to jump in and see if Crown Coins truly lives up to its glowing reputation.

Advantages
Great VIP Program
Gift Card redemptions
Generous bonuses
Disadvantages
Library is mostly Slots
Daily Login bonus needs improvement

1️⃣ Trust & Safety

Licensing and Legal Compliance

Crown Coins adheres to sweepstakes laws, and its parent company, Sunflower Limited, is transparent, reflecting strong legal compliance.

Although it is widely available, players from Montana, Louisiana, Michigan, Nevada, Idaho, and Washington are excluded from playing on the site. Signing up is simple, meeting standard requirements, but players must read the Terms & Conditions first. This rule, though slightly inconvenient, shows Crown Coins’ transparency, ensuring players know exactly what to expect.

Score: 17/20

Encryption and Security

Crown Coins’s SSL encryption software is excellent as it is, but it is still frequently updated to ensure players’ data is kept as secure as possible. While the casino protects its players’ data with encryption software, it also uses strict geofencing technology to keep out players from a restricted territory.

On top of the security measures employed by the casino, players have another security measure to protect their data in the form of secure transaction methods. The likes of Skrill, American Express and Mastercard all have their own security software to keep personal and financial information safe.

Score: 17/20

Reputation & Customer Reviews

Trustpilot is very useful to gauge whether a business is worth your time, especially when it comes to sweepstakes casinos. As there is no mandatory real money gambling involved, the reviews are much more likely to be impartial. Fortunately, Crown Coins has an excellent average rating of 4.7 stars on Trustpilot, based on over 46,000 reviews. 87% of these are 5 stars and a further 6% are 4 stars, so it’s clear that the overwhelming majority of players have very good experiences with the casino.

Its impressive customer reputation extends beyond Trustpilot to social media. In particular, its Facebook page currently has 298,000 followers and 263,000 Likes, while its Instagram account has over 40,000 followers.

As is to be expected, there are some bad reviews on Trustpilot, but a lot of these are unfounded moaning. Where the complaints are actually valid, Crown Coins is very active in responding to try and get these issues fixed.

Score: 37/40

General Terms

The casino’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy can both be located at the bottom of the landing page. The Terms of Service are as expected. They state that using a VPN to get around the geofencing could lead to Account closure, that players are only allowed one Account each, and that it is the player’s responsibility to keep their user data safe. The casino also reserves the right to change how many coins can be purchased.

Although the exact deposit and redemption methods are not listed in the Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy, players will be informed of the accepted deposit and redemption methods when they visit the relevant area of the banking page.

The rules surrounding Sweeps Cash are in line with the industry average. All Sweeps Cash must be wagered at least once to become redeemable, and players need at least 100 eligible Sweeps Cash for a redemption request.

2️⃣ Games

The games library at Crown Coins is a decent size at around 400 titles, but it is not as big as other sweeps casinos we’ve encountered. However, despite this, the casino is still able to offer titles from some of the leading developers in the industry such as Booming Games, Hacksaw Gaming and Playtech. With a significant number of big-name software providers, players can be sure of an entertaining experience.

We were also pleased with the categorization of the library, as too many casinos do not seem to give this area the attention it deserves. As a result of the excellent categorization, going through the library and finding titles you enjoy, as well as new games, is very straightforward.

That said, we were disappointed to see the library rely so heavily on Slots, as this makes other areas of the website feel neglected.

Slots

Although most of the library is Slots, there aren’t as many titles as there are at other sweeps casinos. However, with over 400 options to choose from, there is still more than enough to keep Slots enthusiasts entertained for a long while.

Selecting our favorites is hard, but if we had to pick we would go with Sweet Bonanza, Sugar Rush and Epic Joker. Don’t feel obligated to follow our suggestions, though. As we said, this is a narrowed-down list, and there are plenty of other exciting Slots that can be found on the Crown Coins website.

Score: 16/20

Game Shows

Despite the Game Shows offering being small, the fact that this gaming category is available in the first place is a positive in its own right. Most casinos don’t offer this to players, especially in the case of sweepstakes websites. The fact that they are all supplied by leading iGaming company Playtech is also a big plus.

All of the Game Shows titles at Crown Coins are based on real-life shows, with some being of the same name while others differ in how they are labelled. Although all the titles were enjoyable, our favorite one in this category was Spin a Win, which is based on the famous Wheel of Fortune show.

Score: 15/25

Slingo

Slingo titles are a popular alternative to Slots, as they offer the simplicity of Slots gaming while differing just enough to avoid feeling the same. These titles fuse Bingo and Slots together, meaning that while the traditional Slots mechanic remains in place, players have to scratch off lines on a Bingo Card as opposed to getting symbols on paylines.

There aren’t that many Slingo titles here, but the fact that they are even available is a welcome change. This type of game may be fairly easy to find at some real money online casinos, but is much more hit-and-miss as to whether Slingo games are available at a sweepstakes casino, as these casino libraries are typically quite restricted.

Score: 13/30

Table Games

Unfortunately, there are no Table Games available at Crown Coins. This is disappointing, as the bulk of the creative attention has clearly been directed towards Slots.

Although we understand the popularity of Slots, we would really have liked to see the casino make an effort to include at least some Table Games for players to enjoy.

3️⃣ Bonuses & Promos

For the most part, Crown Coins gets its promotions and bonuses spot on. There are a number of ways to acquire both Crown Coins and Sweeps Cash, but the prizes are also within the right range. There is enough here to keep players entertained, but the prizes are not so big that players become lazy.

The one main problem we have with the promotions is the fact that the casino provides a time-limited first purchase offer. This arbitrary time pressure is a black mark against the casino, as it is attempting to coerce players into spending money they otherwise may not have wanted to.

Welcome Bonus

All new players at Crown Coins receive a welcome bonus of 100,000 Crown Coins + 2 Sweeps Cash. This is easily enough for players to explore most of the website, but it is also just big enough to keep players wanting more. In our minds, that is how a welcome bonus should be.

Besides the no deposit welcome bonus, Crown Coins also incentivizes players to boost their account balance from the start, by offering a first purchase bonus of 800,000 Crown Coins and 40 Sweeps Cash for $15.99. We really like this deal, as it strikes the right balance between value and affordability. This is especially welcome as it offers a vast amount of free-to-play currency, so players can fully enjoy everything that the casino has to offer. Crucially, however, this specific bonus was not time-restricted.

Score: 25/30

Ongoing Promotions

While the welcome offers allow players to hit the ground running, the range of promotions for existing players is solid as well. We were especially pleased with the progressive Daily Login bonus, as players can access better rewards when they log on for consecutive days. What’s more, these are designed to ensure players don’t get complacent. This is because the reward increases every day up until Day 7, but subsequent bonuses don’t grow as fast afterwards. After Day 7, players can access better rewards on Days 8, 15, 22 and 30.

You can also take advantage of email offers and social media giveaways, although the size and availability of rewards may vary.

Finally, the casino provides players with a Mail-In bonus and a Referral bonus, but these require significantly more work on the players’ part. While the Referral bonus rewards 400,000 Crown Coins and 20 Sweeps Cash each time, it may be challenging to get players to sign up in this way.

It’s also worth pointing out that the Mail-In bonus might not be worth your time. There is only 1 Sweeps Cash available using this method, you have to fill out the card in accordance with the casino’s strict rules, and it can take a while before this bonus is credited to your account.

Score: 20/25

Loyalty Program

We were pleased to see that Crown Coins offers a VIP Program, as this incentivizes players to stay loyal to the business. What’s more, this Program has multiple tiers, with better benefits on offer the higher you climb the ladder.

Although there are several rewards on offer, the ones that stood out to us were the monthly reward, 24/7 customer support and a gift on your birthday.

Score: 21/25

Wagering Terms and Conditions

There are no hidden tricks at Crown Coins, as the casino follows the standard procedure of equating all its Sweeps Cash as worth 1 USD, while mandating a 1x wagering requirement for players to redeem them for prizes.

While the wagering requirements and value of Sweeps Cash are as we expected, we were disappointed to see that the casino imposes a minimum redemption limit of $100. We feel this is quite high, and makes being able to redeem your Sweeps Cash less accessible.

4️⃣ Payments & Banking

Purchase Methods

Players can choose from 5 deposit methods at Crown Coins in the form of Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, American Express and Skrill. This was a pleasant surprise, as sweepstakes casinos are well known for offering very limited banking options.

Whichever deposit method you choose, the transactions are instant, meaning you can get straight to exploring the games library.

Although purchases are not mandatory, the casino still provides a range of free-to-play currency packs, and all except the cheapest option come with a Sweeps Cash bonus attached.

Score: 15/20

Redemption Methods

Unfortunately, while there are numerous deposit options, this is not the case for redemptions. Crown Coins only provides redemption options in the form of Skrill and Bank Transfers. Withdrawal times can vary, taking up to 5 days for a Bank Transfer or up to 3 days for a redemption to Skrill.

Players need at least 100 eligible Sweeps Cash to make a redemption request, and regional limits also apply. You can withdraw up to $10,000 a day if you are outside of New York and Florida. If you live in either of these territories, the limit drops to $5,000.

Score: 14/25

Transaction Security and Fairness

Crown Coins takes its commitment to its players very seriously, as evidenced by the use of up-to-date encryption software. Players can also rest assured that their transactions are kept safe thanks to the banking options available, as Banks, Visa, Mastercard, Apple, American Express and Skrill all have their own high-level security protections to prevent hackers from accessing customer data.

The transactions are also completely fair, as the wagering requirements are in line with the industry standard.

5️⃣ User Experience

Website Design & Navigation

Crown Coins’s website is designed with simplicity in mind, but this is no bad thing. It makes getting around the website much easier, and a clutter-free interface is especially important if you are playing on a smaller screen.

Getting around the website is made easier due to the range of tabs that can be found in the lobby, as this allows players to get to key areas faster. For example, two of the tabs are “Buy” and “Redeem”, which provide helpful shortcuts for players’ banking needs.

Most importantly, the casino works flawlessly on both mobile and desktop devices. This means players can expect the same high-quality experience regardless of how they choose to play.

Score: 22/25

Mobile Gaming

It was clear from testing the site on a mobile phone that Crown Coins have put a lot of effort into ensuring a level playing field in terms of accessibility. Everything fits neatly onto the smaller screen, without compromising on quality. Whether it is accessing the games library, making deposits or redemptions, or just browsing the site, the experience is the same, and everything works as it should.

That said, the casino isn’t perfect. While we were happy to see an iOS app made available to customers, this should really have been made available to Android players as well.

This lack of a mobile app for non-Apple users is very frustrating, and this inequality has cost the casino a significant number of points here. Either make a mobile app that is accessible to all devices, or don’t make one at all.

Score: 15/20

Customer Support

We like that there are numerous avenues for contacting Crown Coins’s customer support team. There is a FAQ page, as well as an on-site contact form, phone support, email address and Live Chat.

The customer support at Crown Coins is designed to empower customers as much as possible. This is evident in numerous ways. In particular, the FAQ section is well stocked, and the on-site contact form allows you to select a range of predetermined issues, or to describe your problem further if necessary. This is always a welcome business model in our eyes, as we much prefer it when a casino gives its players the chance to fix problems themselves.

That said, there are some areas where the customer support offering could be improved. This is particularly true in terms of the Live Chat, as the response times for this method can end up being quite long. Of course, reply times are down to supply and demand, but we would still appreciate faster responses.

Score: 24/30

Responsible Gaming Measures

Crown Coins ticks almost all the boxes in terms of its Responsible Gambling measures. All the necessary limits can be set, including spending limits on coin packs, wagering limits on both Crown Coins and Sweeps Cash, and playing time limits. What’s more, you can also specify your loss limit according to your budget, and the fact that this is customizable is a nice touch.

Finally, the casino also provides players with the ability to temporarily or permanently close their accounts. Temporary exclusions vary in length and can go from as little as a day to longer periods such as six months or more.

Summary

Despite its relative newness, Crown Coins definitely shows a lot of promise. Although the library could definitely be better organized, this is easily fixable. What’s more, there are plenty of reasons to enjoy Crown Coins as it is, including its plentiful bonus supply and its great VIP Program. On top of this, the casino is legal in 44 states, so most people in the US are able to enjoy it.
