WPT Global Review 2026

Licensing & Security

Everstronglink Limited, a Costa Rica company, runs WPT Global under Tobique Gaming Commission license 0000005. For this WPT Global review, I checked the commission’s License Holders list on September 30, 2026, and it showed Everstronglink Limited with a B2C license expiring April 25, 2027. Kashxa Limited, a Cyprus company, handles payments as the license holder’s agent.

WPT Global is not the World Poker Tour itself. It is an independent company that licenses the WPT name, while the tour belongs to Element Partners, which bought it from Allied Esports in a deal worth $105 million. WPT Global launched in April 2022 under a Curaçao license and has since moved to Tobique.

Tobique is a small regulator, and there’s no validator seal on WPT Global’s site to click. Disputes go to MADRE, an independent dispute resolution service, once you ask for a “Deadlock” email, and the terms also give a Tobique complaints address. That’s more than some offshore rooms offer, but it’s thin protection if a withdrawal goes wrong.

Encryption & Security

WPT Global puts most of its effort into game integrity. The tables run on A5 Labs‘ software platform, with an AI anti-cheat tool called AceGuardian and a Game Integrity System that hunts bots and collusion, and GeoComply supplies the geolocation and fraud checks. The Rewarding Integrity in Poker program pays bounties for verifiable cheating reports, and WPT Global says it has paid rewards worth six figures.

The rules back that up. HUDs, seating scripts, real-time assistance, virtual machines, emulators and screen sharing are all banned, and so are seat hopping, VIP hunting, ratholing and hit-and-running. WPT Global can even ask for a video interview or, rarely, webcam-supervised play to check your history.

Account security is weaker. There’s no two-step login. You sign in with a username or email plus a password, and the RNG is described as third-party audited without naming the lab.

Reputation & Player Reviews

Trustpilot gives wptglobal.com a TrustScore of 1.6 from 75 reviews, and 66 of them are one star, which is 88%. WPT Global claimed the profile in August 2024, doesn’t invite reviews and hasn’t replied to any of its 25 recent negative ones.

The complaints fall into three groups: players convinced the RNG is rigged after bad beats, withdrawals stuck under review for days, and accounts blocked, one of them before the player had played a hand. Seventy-five reviews is a small sample for a room this size, but the direction is pretty clear.

Size isn’t the problem. At 1,849 cash-game players on a 30-day average, WPT Global is fourth among tracked networks, behind GGPoker’s 9,345 and one place below CoinPoker’s 1,935, and it shares its player pool with other operators, which helps keep the tables full.

General Terms

You don’t need documents to start. WPT Global asks for them when you hit certain thresholds or before your first withdrawal: ID, a utility bill under three months old and proof of deposits, verified within 72 hours of getting everything. These are the terms that matter most:

• One account: extra accounts are blocked, and their deposits, winnings or bonuses can be kept.
• No VPNs: hiding your location with a VPN, proxy or geolocation tool is prohibited.
• Inactivity: after 13 months without a login, and a 30-day notice, WPT Global charges $10 every 30 days.
• Market exit: if WPT Global leaves your country, funds left 30 days after notice can be confiscated where the law allows.
• Your data: the terms allow account data to be shared with affiliates, marketing partners and other gaming operators.
• Age: 18, or the legal gambling age where you live.

WPT Global’s welcome pays your first deposit back as cash, up to $3,000, but you earn it $1 for every $10 of rake, so only count what you’ll realistically clear. Omaha players get the best deal on the site, 30% PLO rakeback at every stake, paid every Monday. I’d ignore the casino half entirely.

Welcome Bonus

The welcome offer pays back 100% of your first deposit as cash, from $10 up to $3,000, and there’s no code because it activates on the deposit. Nothing is credited up front. Half releases at the Poker tables, $1 for every $10 in rake and fees, and half in the casino, and you have 60 days before anything unreleased expires.

The two halves are very different. The Poker half is a fair 10% of your rake. The casino half releases $1 for every $500 wagered, so the $1,500 casino share of a $3,000 deposit needs $750,000 of casino wagering, which nobody should plan around. Where the casino isn’t offered, the whole match becomes Poker money at the same $1 per $10 rate.

A $3,000 deposit also adds $248 in tournament tickets and $100 in Casino Coin, which is where the “up to $3,348” headline comes from. Tickets expire in 90 days, you must play through your deposit before withdrawing winnings, and the old WPT50 code and $1,500 match you’ll still see around are out of date.

Ongoing Bonuses

Omaha players get the best deal on the site. 30% rakeback goes to every PLO4 and PLO5 cash player at every stake, paid every Monday at 2pm Central European Time for the week before, and it has run since May 20, 2025 with no end date.

• Daily freerolls: $500 to $1,000, every two hours from 05:02 to 15:02 UTC.
• Super Giveaway: any daily deposit can win tickets to tournaments that overlaid the day before.
• Weekly guarantees: the $110 Sunday Slam Mystery Bounty with $100K guaranteed, the $530 Grand Slam PKO at $50K and the $530 Thursday Crown Throne at $20K.

Rakeback is worked out on rake attribution, so insurance and feature spend don’t count toward it.

VIP / Loyalty Program

There’s no published VIP ladder. The Poker Rewards Program is the Table Starter Boost. Open an empty High-stakes cash table, from $25/$50/$100 No-Limit Hold’em up, and you earn 40% rakeback for that session. Only the first player to buy in and play a hand qualifies, and it covers NLHE and Short Deck, not PLO4, PLO5 or heads-up tables.

Everything else at the top is “custom rewards for VIPs”, negotiated rather than published. Passport Dollars for live WPT entries are winding down too, since they must be used by December 31, 2026 and the Passport satellites have been discontinued.

Wagering Requirements

On the Poker side, clearing the welcome cashback is simple, and there’s no bonus code to enter. Every $10 of rake releases $1, so a $1,000 Poker share needs $10,000 in rake inside 60 days.

Two rules sit on top of the welcome bonus. Each deposit must be wagered once before a withdrawal, and requesting any withdrawal cancels every active bonus, so finish clearing before you cash out.

Cash Games

WPT Global spreads No-Limit Hold’em, Short Deck, PLO4 and PLO5, from Big Antes games at $0.01/$0.02 up to $2,000/$4,000 Hold’em. The tables come with extras you won’t find everywhere: bomb pots, multiple blinds and antes, mandatory straddles, Pace fast-fold Poker and Hole Card Betting, where pocket aces pay 200 to 1.

Traffic is strong for a room this young. It averages 1,849 cash-game players on a 30-day basis, fourth among tracked networks, though tracking of its cash games only began on August 22, so that average is still settling. Many games and guarantees run in Chinese yuan, a sign of how much of the pool comes from Asia.

Tournaments

Tournaments cover NLHE, PLO and Short Deck, with progressive knockout, Mystery Bounty, freeroll and satellite formats. WPT Global’s Golden Bounty Championship carries a $250,000 guarantee, and the Asian series are huge. WPT Asia Overdrive ran in August with ¥200,000,000 guaranteed, more than $20 million.

The WPT link is the draw. Satellites from $1.10 feed a $1,060 satellite every Sunday until November 29, for a $12,400 WPT World Championship package of a $10,400 entry and $2,000 in travel, and the first 30 online qualifiers get a $100,000 Golden Ticket added if they win. The Championship has had prize pools of up to $40 million.

The live side is still part of the offer. Upcoming stops include WPT Prime Cyprus from October 15 to 19, 2026, WPT Seoul from November 5 to 9 and WPT Prime at Wynn Las Vegas in December, and the ambassador line-up includes Phil Ivey, Patrick “Egption” Tardif, Yen Han “Pete” Chen and Fintan Hand.

Spins and Mega Hour

Global Spins are three-handed jackpot sit & gos from $1 to $100 with multipliers from 2x to 6,000x, the top one hitting once in every million, and you can run up to four at once. They carry 5% rake plus a 1% jackpot contribution.

For Asian time zones, Mega Hour runs every hour from 12:00 to 24:00 UTC+8 with ¥500,000 in daily guarantees.

Rake & Fees

USD Hold’em is raked at 4%, and outside Pace games it’s no flop, no drop. These are the caps from WPT Global’s rake page:

At $0.50/$1 that $4 cap beats CoinPoker’s $5 and Stake Poker’s $8, though ACR stops at $3.

There are three extra costs to watch. Big Antes tables carry higher caps, $4 and $8 at $0.50/$1 against $2 and $4 on a standard table, Pace games from $1/$2 take 5% and every Pace hand is raked even without a flop, and at High Hand Jackpot tables one big blind comes out of every pot over 20 big blinds on top of the rake. Casino Games

The casino adds Slots, Live Casino, Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Sic Bo and two in-house originals, Poker Flips and Poker Master.

It’s there for the casino half of the welcome bonus and a spin between sessions. Nobody joins WPT Global for it.

Deposits

The cashier is broad. Crypto goes through a Cryptoprocessing option that takes Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and other coins, with deposits from $15 to $10,000, and Visa and Mastercard take $10 to $2,000. There are no deposit fees, and the minimum is $10 in most regions.

E-wallets cover LuxonPay at $5 to $10,000 and Skrill and Neteller at $5 to $5,000, and the list runs on through Flexepin, AstroPay, Jeton, MuchBetter, PayOp, NeoSurf, Paysafecard, Interac and Inovapay. For crypto you pick the coin, enter a USD amount and send to a unique address, and a coin sent on the wrong network isn’t compensated.

Withdrawals

Withdrawals go back to the method you last deposited with, and cards can’t take a withdrawal. WPT Global says it processes withdrawals within 12 hours, but its terms allow up to 72 hours once verification is done, and it charges no withdrawal fees of its own.

Read the conditions before you cash out. Each deposit has to be wagered once, you need rake or casino revenue of at least 10% of the deposit before a withdrawal is processed, and cashing out before your deposit is fully wagered can cost a 30% processing fee. Payment methods must be in your own name, and you can’t transfer money to another player.

Your balance stays in the currency you chose at registration. The rake page lists both USD and Chinese yuan tables, so pick USD if you plan to play the dollar games.

Withdrawal Limits

• Minimum: $5 to $20 depending on the method, and $20 for crypto, Skrill and Neteller.
• Crypto: $20 to $10,000 a withdrawal.
• LuxonPay: $15 to $10,000.
• Skrill and Neteller: $20 to $10,000.
• Maximum: your balance, within each method’s limits.

A $10,000 ceiling per crypto withdrawal is fine for most players, though a big tournament score means a few requests.

Website Design and UI

There is no browser version, so everything happens in the WPT Global app for Windows, Mac, iOS or Android. The website is tidy and easy to use, and in the app you can run up to four Spins at once, or three tournaments at a time on mobile.

Mobile App

On mobile, the iPhone app is on the App Store, published by Kashxa Limited, where it rates 3.7 from 261 ratings in Canada, but it does not show on the US App Store. It’s about 611 MB and needs iOS 13 or later. Android is an APK you download from wptglobal.com, and it asks for your location when you install it.

Be careful on Google Play. The listing called “WPT Global Real Online Poker” comes from an unrelated developer, not the operator, so only install from wptglobal.com. On desktop you need Windows 10, 500 MB of space and 3 GB of RAM.

Customer Service

Customer support runs 24/7 by email at [email protected], with chat inside the app, and disputes get an outcome within 10 days. It’s a reasonable setup for a Poker room, and better than email alone.

Responsible Gambling

Everything goes through email. You can self-exclude for a set period or indefinitely, or restrict your account temporarily. Longer exclusions start within 24 hours, while shortening one takes 7 days, limits are agreed with support rather than set in a menu, and the page points to GamCare for a self-assessment.
