FanDuel Casino State by State

FanDuel Casino is live in five states under two names. In New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia it’s FanDuel Casino. In Connecticut the same platform runs as Mohegan Sun Online Casino, with its own app and its own website. Our US online casinos guide covers the law state by state.

Licensing & Security

The operator in every state is Betfair Interactive US LLC, which belongs to Flutter Entertainment plc. Flutter has owned 100% of FanDuel since July 31, 2025, when it bought the 5% stake that Boyd Gaming held, and its shares have had their primary listing on the New York Stock Exchange since May 31, 2024.

Flutter says FanDuel took roughly a 27% share of online casino revenue in its states in fiscal 2025. That’s the parent’s own figure, but it tells you this is not a small operator. Your balance is held in a separate account, and FanDuel pays no interest on it.

One thing confuses people. The casino partner is not always the place with the FanDuel sportsbook counter. In New Jersey the casino runs under Golden Nugget Atlantic City’s license, while the Meadowlands is only a sportsbook cage where you can pay in cash.

Licenses by State

• New Jersey: the Division of Gaming Enforcement lists casino.fanduel.com as an authorized site under the Golden Nugget casino license.
• Pennsylvania: runs under Valley Forge Casino Resort, and the Gaming Control Board dates FanDuel Casino from January 24, 2020. The site prints license numbers IG-111487 and 19421.
• Michigan: the Gaming Control Board lists FanDuel as the platform provider for MotorCity Casino, and the lobby carries a joint FanDuel Casino and MotorCity logo.
• West Virginia: runs under an agreement with Mardi Gras Casino, and the West Virginia Lottery’s register lists Betfair Interactive US LLC, trading as FanDuel Casino.
• Connecticut: runs with Mohegan Digital, LLC for the Mohegan Tribe, and the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Commission covers play on reservation land. The state says only two online casinos are licensed there, and this is one of them.

Mohegan Sun Online Casino in Connecticut

In Connecticut you download a separate app, Mohegan Sun CT Online Casino, published by FanDuel, and you play at ct.mohegansuncasino.com. It’s the FanDuel platform with a Mohegan Sun skin, and the FanDuel Exclusives row of games carries over.

Don’t confuse it with the other Mohegan casinos online. Three different apps carry the Mohegan name, and only the Connecticut one is FanDuel’s. The New Jersey Mohegan Sun site runs under the Resorts Casino Hotel license with an app sold by Boyd Gaming, and the Pennsylvania one is run by Mohegan Digital Services LLC with no FanDuel involvement.

Stardust Casino is in the same position. It began in 2021 as a joint FanDuel and Boyd Gaming product, but its app is now published by Boyd Gaming, so it isn’t a FanDuel casino anymore.

Encryption & Security

FanDuel says very little about encryption. The only statement in its terms is a system requirement, that your browser must support 128-bit encryption, and I’d like to see more than that from a company this size.

Account security is better covered. With two-factor login switched on, every login asks for a 6-digit code sent to your phone. The terms call it optional, but New Jersey requires every user to set it up. FanDuel also supports passkeys, which sign you in with Face ID, Touch ID, a fingerprint or your device code in place of a password.

People ask whether it’s safe to give FanDuel a Social Security number. Sign-up asks for the last four digits only, along with your date of birth, address, email and phone number, and a verification agency uses them to confirm who you are. If that check fails, you upload a photo of an ID or driver’s license, and passports aren’t accepted.

Reputation & Player Reviews

The apps are very well rated. FanDuel Casino has 4.8 from 202K ratings on the App Store and 4.5 from about 116,000 reviews on Google Play, with more than a million downloads. The Connecticut app is rated 4.8 from about 25,000 ratings on the App Store.

Trustpilot tells a different story. There, fanduel.com scores 1.2 from 1,076 reviews, and 92% of them are one-star. That profile covers every FanDuel product, the sportsbook included, and Trustpilot notes that FanDuel hasn’t replied to its negative reviews.

Regulators have fined the operator, though the sums are small. New Jersey issued a $25,000 penalty in March 2026 over a computer coding error, $5,000 in September 2026 for not following a direction during an investigation, and $2,000 for switching on promotional spins without approval. Pennsylvania fined it $40,000 for failing to license several employees.

Is FanDuel Casino Rigged?

No. The casino terms say random number generator software decides every game outcome, and each state’s regulator has approved the operator to run online casino games. The return to player for a game is printed inside its own Help or Game Info rules.

General Terms

You get one account per person. If you log in from another FanDuel state, your whole balance moves with you to that state. Disputes go to binding arbitration with a class action waiver, and FanDuel says it will try to answer a written complaint within five calendar days, or ten in Connecticut.

• New Jersey: an account is dormant after 12 months without a login.
• Pennsylvania: dormant after two years.
• Michigan: dormant after three years.
• West Virginia: dormant after 12 months in the casino part of the terms, though the general part says 16 months.
• Connecticut: dormant after three years.

FanDuel Casino’s bonus terms are as simple as they get, and that is its best feature. Every bonus carries a 1x playthrough, so you play it once and what you win is yours. The welcome starts from a $5 deposit in four states, and Connecticut gets a different offer.

Welcome Bonus

New players in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia get 1,000 Bonus Spins plus a $25 Casino Bonus. You need a first deposit of at least $5, and FanDuel’s own steps for the offer are to join, deposit and receive the spins, with no promo code anywhere in them.

The spins arrive in batches of 50 a day over 20 days. Each batch expires seven days after you get it and works only on the listed Huff N’ Puff Slots. The $25 is casino site credit that also expires after seven days. The promotion runs from September 3 to November 1, 2026.

Check that you count as new. You qualify only if you’ve never placed a wager on FanDuel Sportsbook, FanDuel Casino, Betfair Casino or Mohegan Sun Casino, which rules out anyone who already bets on sports with FanDuel. The spins can only be used in the state where you made your first deposit.

Older Offers Still in Print

You’ll see other FanDuel welcome offers quoted, some of them by FanDuel. The App Store listing still describes 500 Bonus Spins plus a refund of up to $50, a lower block of the landing page still shows 500 spins on Love Island: Unlocked plus $50, and footer text on the Michigan lobby mentions up to $1,000 back. The live offer is the 1,000 spins and $25.

Ongoing Bonuses

The daily regular is Reward Machine, a free game with three spins a day that expire at 6:00 p.m. Eastern. It can pay site credit, bonus spins and entries to a Sunday night draw for an extra $1,000 in Casino Bonus, and its top prize starts at $3,000 and rises to $10,000 for VIP players.

The lobby also lists promotions you opt into. On October 8, 2026 the Michigan lobby had one paying 15 Bonus Spins for $50 bet on a named Slot, and another paying $5 in Casino Bonus for $50 of live dealer Baccarat play.

You can refer up to five friends every 30 days. FanDuel keeps the referral amount inside the Rewards Hub, and the bonus has to be used within 14 days.

VIP / Loyalty Program

FanDuel Casino Rewards Club is a monthly program, and you’re in it without signing up for anything. You earn 3 points per $1 on Slots and jackpots, 2 on Roulette, Craps and similar games, and 1 on Blackjack and Baccarat. Points can’t be redeemed. They only set your level.

• Level 1: where everyone starts, with no Bonus Back.
• Level 2: 3,000 points in a month, with 5% of net losses back, up to $5 a week.
• Level 3: 15,000 points, with 10% back, up to $10 a week.
• Level 4: 42,000 points, with 15% back, up to $35 a week.
• VIP: by invitation, with 25% back up to $125 a week, early access to new games and 24/7 priority support.

Bonus Back is paid as Casino Bonus on a Monday. Points reset to zero on the first day of each month, and a level you reach stays active for the rest of that month and the next one. Levels 2 and above also get Reward Boxes, which have to be claimed within six hours of appearing.

Wagering Requirements

This is FanDuel’s best feature. Every bonus carries a 1x playthrough, so you play it once and what you win is yours. Winnings from Bonus Spins are credited as Casino Bonus, which then needs that one play through before it turns into cash.

The rules around it are short. A bonus is valid for seven days unless the promotion says otherwise, and bonuses are forfeited from any account that hasn’t had a deposit within 60 days of opening. Bonus money itself can’t be withdrawn, but the winnings from it can.

Bonuses by State

• New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia: the same welcome offer, Rewards Club, Reward Machine and referral bonus.
• Connecticut: 500 Bonus Spins on Huff N’ Puff games with a $10 first deposit. The second part differs by source. On October 8, 2026 the lobby banner offered up to 500 Momentum Dollars when you link a Momentum account, while the app listing still describes up to $1,000 back on first-day losses.
• Connecticut loyalty: Rewards Club launched in the other four states only, and Reward Machine doesn’t run here. You link a Mohegan Sun Momentum account and earn Momentum Dollars, which you spend at the resort on shops, restaurants, the hotel, show tickets and golf.

Slots

FanDuel gives no game count. It talks about hundreds of Slots, and on October 8, 2026 the Michigan lobby home page showed 424 different game tiles and the Connecticut one 370. Those are home page counts, and the full library is bigger.

The exclusives are the interesting part. FanDuel lists Huff N’ Even More Puff Hard Hat Edition, Monopoly Money Line, Love Island Unlocked and the Samurai 888 games among them, and IGT and Playtech titles appear in the lobby too. Each tile shows its stake range, and Divine Fortune Gold takes bets from $0.10 to $1,000.

Table Games

The Table Games cover Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Video Poker and Baccarat. Stakes run from cents to five figures, and FanDuel Football Blackjack takes bets from $0.10 to $10,000.

Poker is a separate room called PokerStars on FanDuel. You sign in with your FanDuel Casino account, and players in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan share one pool. If you had an old PokerStars account, money can’t be moved straight across, so you withdraw it and deposit again.

Live Casino

FanDuel says its live dealer tables are open 24/7, and they’re supplied by Evolution. The range covers Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Craps and Three Card Poker, and you can chat with the dealer and the other players.

FanDuel has its own branded tables as well, including FanDuel Live Dealer Infinite Blackjack at $0.50 to $5,000 and FanDuel Live Dealer Football Baccarat at $1 to $10,000. Game shows such as Crazy Time and Monopoly Live are in the same lobby, and the highest limits listed are $25,000 on Monopoly Live and $20,000 on Lightning Auto-Roulette.

If your connection drops during a live round, your accepted bets stay in play and the dealer carries on.

Jackpots

There are two jackpot systems. Daily Jackpots are pooled across selected games, with a daily prize that’s guaranteed to hit by the end of the day, an Hourly Jackpot that drops once an hour and a Mini that drops several times a day. FanDuel warns that they may not be in every state and that they run only in the app.

FanDuel Casino Jackpots are progressives you opt into. Opting in adds $0.10 to every bet for a chance at the Mini, Minor, Major or Mega prize, and you can opt out again at any time.

Games by State

• New Jersey: casino, live dealer and PokerStars on FanDuel, and the casino games are also inside the FanDuel Sportsbook app.
• Pennsylvania: casino, live dealer and PokerStars on FanDuel.
• Michigan: casino, live dealer and PokerStars on FanDuel, with a MotorCity Favorites row and a Top 10 Games in Michigan row in the lobby.
• West Virginia: casino and live dealer, with no Poker.
• Connecticut: a Mohegan Sun Favorites row, a Live Dealer row and a Progressive Jackpots row, with no Poker.

Deposits

The welcome offer needs a first deposit of $5, or $10 in Connecticut, and FanDuel doesn’t publish a general minimum beyond that. You can pay by online banking, debit card, wire transfer, FanDuel Prepaid Play+, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, PayNearMe, gift cards or cash at a counter.

Credit cards are not accepted for casino deposits in the United States. PayPal and Venmo both have to be funded from a linked bank account, and the payment source has to be in your own name. FanDuel charges no fees to deposit or withdraw, though your bank may charge its own.

Withdrawals

Every withdrawal is reviewed first. Most are reviewed within 24 hours, and a first withdrawal can take up to 48. After approval, the time depends on the method.

Those are the help center’s figures. The state terms promise less, saying card, bank and e-wallet withdrawals are processed within three business days, so treat 24 hours as the usual case and three business days as the limit.

There’s one rule that catches people out. You can only withdraw to a debit card, PayPal or Venmo after you’ve made a successful deposit with it, while online banking, a check and cash at a counter need no deposit first, so it pays to deposit with the method you want to be paid by.

Withdrawal Limits

FanDuel publishes no minimum withdrawal and no withdrawal limits on any public page we read, which is the main gap in this section. Money you’ve deposited and not played is refunded only to the method you used.

On big wins, a Slots win of $2,000 or more is reported on a federal tax form in 2026, up from $1,200 before. In New Jersey a jackpot win above $40,000 can have money withheld if the winner owes child support.

Payments by State

• New Jersey: cash deposits at the Golden Nugget Atlantic City cage or the FanDuel Sportsbook cage at the Meadowlands, with cash pickup at either.
• Pennsylvania: no cage deposit is listed, but you can pick up cash at the FanDuel Sportsbook.
• Michigan: cash deposits and pickup at the FanDuel Sportsbook in MotorCity Casino Hotel, Detroit.
• West Virginia: no cash option. Withdrawals go by debit card, bank transfer, check, PayPal, Venmo or the prepaid card.
• Connecticut: no PayPal, Venmo, Play+ or Apple Pay. You can pay in person at the Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook in Uncasville, and a wager made on the Mohegan Reservation can only be cashed out while you’re still on the reservation.

Website Design and UI

The lobby is bright and easy to read, with tabs for Rewards, New, Slots, Jackpots, Blackjack, Live and Exclusives. Every game tile shows its stake range underneath, so you know the minimum bet before you open anything.

One login and one wallet work across FanDuel products, so money you hold in the sportsbook can be played in the casino. The casino runs in a desktop browser as well as the apps. On a computer you have to install a geolocation plugin, which phones don’t need, and Chromebooks can’t use it.

Mobile App

The casino has its own app, rated 4.8 from 202K ratings on the App Store. The iPhone app is 216.4 MB and needs iOS 15.1 or later, and the Android app was last updated on September 24, 2026. Apple rates it 18+, but you have to be 21 to play.

There’s also a combined FanDuel Sportsbook and Casino app, rated 4.8 from about 2.3 million ratings. If you already have a FanDuel account, it logs straight in to the casino app.

Customer Service

Support starts with the chat button in the help center, which FanDuel says is usually the fastest route. Messages on X and Facebook are answered daily from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM Eastern, usually within about an hour, and email goes through a form with replies in 12 to 24 hours.

The contact page lists no telephone number, and that will bother some people. To close your account, go to Settings, then Account Controls and Closure, and withdraw your balance first.

Responsible Gambling

You can set deposit, spend and time limits in every state. A lower limit applies at once, while a higher one waits for the old period to end. A Timeout blocks your login for up to 365 days in most states and covers every FanDuel product. Our Responsible Gambling guide lists more help.
