DraftKings Casino is live in five states, and each one is a separate licensed operation with its own company, casino partner and regulator. Here’s who you’re actually dealing with in each. Our US online casinos guide covers the law state by state.

Licensing & Security

The parent is DraftKings Inc., listed on Nasdaq as DKNG with its US office at 222 Berkeley Street in Boston. It also owns Golden Nugget Online Gaming, bought in May 2022, and the lottery app Jackpocket, bought in May 2024, and all three share one rewards program.

That matters when you compare casinos. Golden Nugget Online Casino looks like a rival, but it’s the same company, so don’t count the two as independent choices. You have to be 21 and physically inside one of the five states to play, though you do not need to be a resident.

Licenses by State

• New Jersey: Crown NJ Gaming Inc. runs the casino under the license of Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, regulated by the Division of Gaming Enforcement.
• Pennsylvania: Crown PA Gaming Inc. has operated under Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course since May 1, 2020, on Certificate No. 1315.
• Michigan: Crown Gaming MI LLC partners with the Bay Mills Indian Community and has been live since January 22, 2021.
• West Virginia: Crown WV Gaming LLC holds iGaming license IGP 001 from the West Virginia Lottery and launched on July 15, 2020 with Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races.
• Connecticut: DraftKings is the online partner of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe, which owns Foxwoods, on license OGO.000003, and has been open statewide since October 19, 2021.

Encryption & Security

DraftKings says all customer information is encrypted, and its casino random number generators are independently tested, with Gaming Laboratories International named as a testing lab. Casino logins need a one-time code at each login, which is either sent by text or email depending on where you are.

You’ll hand over more personal detail than at an offshore site, because state rules require it. Sign-up asks for your name, home address, date of birth, email, phone number and Social Security Number, which DraftKings uses to verify your identity. Most accounts are verified automatically. If yours isn’t, you’ll have to upload a driver’s license, passport or other government ID.

Reputation & Player Reviews

The reviews split in two. In the app stores, DraftKings Casino is rated 4.7 from 111,000 ratings on the App Store and 4.6 from 41,700 reviews on Google Play, where it has passed a million downloads, and those are the people actually using the casino app every day. On Trustpilot, DraftKings as a whole scores 1.2 from 926 reviews, and that page covers the sportsbook and fantasy products as well as the casino.

The regulatory record is worth knowing too. Connecticut fined DraftKings $19,000 in 2024 after an online Slot was found unable to produce a win. In July 2025 the company agreed to return more than $3 million to 7,000 Connecticut customers over deposit-bonus offers it ran between October 2021 and January 2023.

A regulator catching problems is the system working, and it’s something no offshore casino can offer you. As always, you should read the bonus terms before you opt in.

General Terms

The terms are ordinary for a licensed US casino. You get one account per person, payments are final, you can close your account at any time, and there’s no inactivity fee. Staff and their immediate family can’t play. What does change by state is how long an idle account can sit before it’s closed.

• New Jersey: dormant after 12 months, and the balance can be zeroed at 24 months after 30 days of notice.
• Pennsylvania: dormant after 36 months, zeroed at 38 months after 60 days of notice.
• Michigan: closed after three years, with the funds handed over under Michigan law.
• West Virginia: 16 months, then handled under the state’s unclaimed property act.
• Connecticut: closed after three years, with funds sent to the state as abandoned property.

DraftKings does bonuses the way it does everything else, slick and a bit smaller than the headline. The 1,000 Flex Spins come to about $230 by my sums, with light terms, and the catch is the daily login, because any day you skip is gone for good. Check the state list below if you’re in Connecticut.

Welcome Bonus

New players get 1,000 Flex Spins for playing at least $5, with no promo code. Flex Spins let you pick the Slot yourself from more than 100 titles, and 100 of them are for Lightning Link. The minimum deposit is $5.

The number sounds bigger than it is. The first 100 spins are worth $0.50 each and the other 900 are worth $0.20 each, so the whole offer comes to $230 in spins. They arrive 50 a day for 20 days, which is $25 a day for the first two days and $10 a day after that.

Here’s the part to watch. You have to log in every day to collect that day’s spins, and each set expires 24 hours after you choose its game, so every day you skip is $10 or $25 gone for good, with no way to claim it back later. Miss a week and you’ve lost about a third of the offer.

Ongoing Bonuses

The main regular promotion is the Daily Rewards Rocket, a free daily chance at Flex Spins. Wager $50 or more in a week and you earn Turbo rewards for the whole of the following week. There are leaderboards too, linked from the casino’s main menu.

Refer a friend and you can earn up to $2,500 in casino rewards per calendar year. The lobby’s promotions row changes often, so it’s worth a look each time you log in.

VIP / Loyalty Program

The loyalty scheme is changing its name from Dynasty Rewards to DraftKings Rewards, and one account covers DraftKings, Golden Nugget Online Casino and Jackpocket. You climb by earning Tier Credits, and you keep a tier for the rest of that program year and all of the next.

• Silver: 5,000 Tier Credits. This is where play starts earning Crown Cash.
• Gold: 25,000 Tier Credits, with a weekly casino bonus back.
• Diamond: 90,000 Tier Credits, with Crown Cash earned at double rate on the casino.
• Onyx: by invitation, from 175,000 Tier Credits.

Crown Cash is worth $1 for $1, can’t be withdrawn directly and expires on a rolling 12 months. The earn rates are low. Most Slots earn one Tier Credit per $10 wagered and up to 0.090% back in Crown Cash, most Table Games earn one per $50 and up to 0.018%, and live dealer Craps earns nothing at all.

Wagering Requirements

The welcome spins are the easy part, because winnings from them carry no more than a 1x playthrough. Other bonuses are stricter. Instant deposit matches need the deposit and the bonus played through once, and for other deposit bonuses the multiple is set offer by offer, with 1x, 5x and 10x given as examples.

Bonus funds are single use and can’t be cashed out, and winnings on a game that counts 0% toward the requirement stay locked until you’ve cleared it. Casino Credits also can’t be played in a mobile browser, so you’ll need the app for those.

Bonuses by State

• New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia: the 1,000 Flex Spins offer applies in all four, on the same terms.
• Connecticut: the offer’s terms name the four states above and leave Connecticut out, so go by the offer DraftKings shows you at sign-up there. Spin promotions as a type do run in Connecticut.
• Every state: the offer you see is the one that counts, because DraftKings shows welcome offers inside the app and they change with your location.

Slots

DraftKings puts its library at over 1,000 real money games, and Slots make up most of it. The big names are all here, with Lightning Link, Cashingo, 88 Fortunes and Cleopatra among the titles DraftKings promotes itself. New games land every week.

Most games show their RTP in the rules screen, which is more than many casinos manage. DraftKings uses 88 Fortunes at 96.0% as its own example. Jackpots are opt-in, and the cost comes on top of your stake, at $0.10 a spin for the single-level jackpots. Any jackpot you win is paid as cash you can withdraw.

Table Games

There’s a full range of Table Games, with Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat and Craps, plus DraftKings’ own branded tables such as DraftKings Blackjack and Football Blackjack. The in-house versions are the reason to play here, because you won’t find them at a rival.

Electric Poker is another exclusive, a three-handed No-Limit Texas Hold’em game with prize pools of up to 10,000 times the buy-in. It’s only available in three states, as listed below.

Live Casino

The Live Casino has sections for Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, Poker, dice games and game shows, plus a high-limit area. Minimum bets start at $0.10, and the high-limit tables start at $100 and $250.

Tables have unlimited seats, so you won’t queue for a spot at busy times. Decks are shuffled by hand and the Roulette balls are changed regularly. In New Jersey, DraftKings says it has the only fully dedicated 24-hour live dealer studio in the state.

DraftKings Rocket and Exclusives

DraftKings Rocket is the game the casino is known for. It’s a Crash game built in-house, where a rocket climbs and you cash out before it explodes, with a top multiplier of 1,000x and a stated 97% RTP. Rocket 2, NHL Slapshot and Balloon run on the same system.

These exclusives are what separates DraftKings from the other big American casinos, which mostly carry the same studio games as each other, and they’re the main reason I’d pick this lobby over a rival’s on any given night. If you just want a quick game with a decent return and no rules to learn, Rocket is the one to try first.

Games by State

• New Jersey: Poker, Slots, live dealer and Table Games, plus Electric Poker and the dedicated live studio.
• Pennsylvania: Poker, Slots, live dealer and Table Games, plus Electric Poker. DraftKings Poker has run here since October 17, 2024.
• Michigan: Poker, Slots and Table Games, plus Electric Poker.
• West Virginia: Slots and Table Games, with no Electric Poker. The single-level jackpot odds are 5,000,000 to 1 here, against 10,000,000 to 1 in the other four states.
• Connecticut: no Electric Poker, and a smaller catalog than the three biggest states.

One login covers the casino, the sportsbook and daily fantasy, so your balance moves between them. The casino has its own app, and it’s also inside the combined DraftKings Sports & Casino app.

Deposits

You can deposit from $5. DraftKings takes Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover debit cards, PayPal, Venmo, wire transfer and its own gift cards. Wire deposits start at $100, and every deposit has to come from an account in your own name.

Which methods you actually see depends on your state, and the cashier only shows the ones you can use.

Withdrawals

These are DraftKings’ own stated limits and times for each method. The clock starts at the second confirmation email, the one that says your withdrawal has been processed, and not when you ask for the money.

Your first withdrawal, or the first to a new method, needs a code sent to your email, DraftKings can send money back to the method you deposited with, and it says some withdrawals take longer than the times above.

Withdrawal Limits

The limits in the table are per withdrawal, and they’re generous. $100,000 by online banking covers almost any win, and a wire handles the rest. Two rules catch people out. A withdrawal can be canceled if you’ve barely played your deposit, and checks only go to the verified address on your account, never a P.O. box.

On tax, casino winnings are reported on Form W-2G, and after a big win you’ll be asked for a Form W-9. You have to file the taxes yourself.

Payments by State

• New Jersey: the only state with cash at the cage, at Resorts Casino and Golden Nugget in Atlantic City. You collect an hour after the approval email, and the money is held for seven days. New Jersey’s debt set-off program can also intercept taxable winnings.
• Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia: no cage option, and PayPal is available.
• Connecticut: PayPal isn’t permitted, and there’s no cage option either.

Website Design and UI

The lobby is clean and quick. A row of categories runs across the top, with Slots, Tables, Live Dealer, Jackpots and Exclusives, and there’s a search box if you know what you want. Promotions and a live feed of big wins sit above the games.

On a computer, DraftKings recommends Chrome, Firefox or Edge. Wherever you play, location checks are mandatory, and the casino won’t work without them. A VPN gets in the way of those checks, so turn it off before you log in.

Mobile App

Most people will play in the app, and it’s a good one. DraftKings Casino is rated 4.7 from 111K ratings on the App Store and 4.6 from 41.7K reviews on Google Play. The iPhone app is 207.9 MB and needs iOS 16.2 or later, and the Android app was last updated on October 1, 2026.

You can’t play in a phone’s browser, because of the location rules, so on mobile it’s the standalone casino app or the combined Sports & Casino app. If you already have a DraftKings account, you just log in with it. There is no second sign-up.

Customer Service

Support runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, through live chat, email and a chatbot in the Help Center. You can also request a callback once you’re logged in, or message @DK_Assist on X. There’s no public phone number to call.

The Help Center itself is detailed, with separate articles for each payment method and each bonus type. It’s the quickest way to check a rule before you contact anyone.

Responsible Gambling

You can set daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits, and raising one makes you wait before it takes effect. A cool-off can run from 3 to 364 days in most states, and self-exclusion from the casino runs for one year, three years, five years or life. Our Responsible Gambling guide lists more help.

Each state also runs its own helpline and its own self-exclusion program, and signing up to the state program covers every licensed casino there, which a block on your DraftKings account alone does not do, so it is the stronger step if you need a real break.
