ACR Poker Review 2026

Licensing & Security

International Processing Services SA, registered in Panama under number 155667334, owns and runs ACR Poker under Anjouan license ALSI-202607066-FI2. When I checked the Anjouan register on September 30, 2026, the license read valid from July 31, 2026 to July 30, 2027, covering acrpoker.eu and sister sites like blackchippoker.io and truepoker.eu. The footer seal on acrpoker.eu comes back valid, and the same check rejects a made-up domain.

The older americascardroom.eu site is a different story. It’s still live and sends players to the same web app, but the same seal reads it as invalid, its footer shows no license at all, and the terms on both sites still describe a Curaçao sublicense that the Curaçao Gaming Authority’s own register doesn’t list. That’s a real gap for a room that handles this much money.

For Americans, the regulator’s own page is the problem. Anjouan says its license does not extend to the USA, and that complaints from players there won’t be heard. In April 2026 the Michigan Gaming Control Board also named Americas Card Room in a cease-and-desist list of 45 offshore operators, after ACR had already stopped taking Michigan players.

Encryption & Security

On account safety, ACR is strong. Every withdrawal needs a 4-digit email code that expires in five minutes, you can add authenticator-app 2FA from Settings, and logging in from a new device needs an emailed verification link. The RNG is certified by iTech Labs, a hash-based shuffle that can produce 1.4615 x 10^50 orders, and ACR says player money sits in segregated accounts.

The game-integrity rules are clear. HUDs are allowed as long as they only use hands you played, while real-time assistance, in-play solvers, seating scripts and remote-access tools are banned, and since 2021 the client won’t even open while a banned tool is running. ACR also works with GTO Wizard on cheat detection and built PLO Reshuffle games with it, where folded cards go back into the deck.

When bots are caught, compensation goes to players who lost to them, generally capped at $25,000 per offending account. That cap dates from April 2019, when ACR closed two bot accounts and returned $200,000, and ACR says refunds for several hundred more accounts are in progress.

Reputation & Player Reviews

ACR’s reputation depends on which profile you read. On Trustpilot, the newer acrpoker.eu profile scores 4.3 from 156 reviews, 152 of them from the last 12 months, and 70% are five stars. The older Americas Cardroom profile scores 2.9 from 475 reviews, 85% of them one star.

The complaints are mostly about “rigged” bad beats, while the praise is mostly about fast deposits and payouts, and ACR has answered 36% and 54% of negative reviews on the two profiles. The history has rough patches too. In March 2018 a major Poker forum pulled ACR’s advertising after cheating allegations, and in November 2025 Meta removed the brand’s Instagram and Facebook pages.

Twenty-five years is still a long record, and Phil Nagy is the network’s CEO. The room claims more than 1.5 million registered players and runs on a network that employs around 400 people.

General Terms

ACR’s terms have a few rules you won’t find at most rooms. The account has to be certified before you cash out, with government ID, a utility bill or bank statement under three months old and photos of any cards you used, and these are the other terms that matter:

• One account across the network: extra accounts are closed and the oldest is kept.
• Inactivity: an account unused for 12 months can be suspended, and unclaimed balances end up kept by ACR as an “Access Fee”.
• VPNs: hiding your location is banned, and ACR tells you to email support before using one at all.
• Disputes: the Poker room settles them by email and its decision is final. Costa Rican law governs, and class actions aren’t allowed.
• Age: 18 or the age of majority where you live.

ACR Poker’s welcome is a 100% match up to $2,000, released as you play inside 60 days, and it’s worth taking. The loyalty scheme is thin for small players. If you put in volume at cash games, The Beast is the reason to be here, a weekly rake race worth about $100,000.

Welcome Bonus

The welcome bonus is a 100% match up to $2,000 on your first deposit, from a $25 minimum, and there’s no code because it activates on the deposit. It isn’t credited up front. It pays out in $1 pieces, one for every 27.5 Award Points you earn from rake and tournament fees, and you have 60 days to clear it.

A couple of details are worth knowing. The part of your rake that funds points races doesn’t count, crypto may not be allowed as a first deposit in some regions, and your account name has to match the payment method. Support says two back-to-back $1,000 deposits can probably still get the full $2,000 by exception.

Ongoing Bonuses

The Beast is the headline promotion. It’s a weekly cash-game rake race worth about $100,000, running Saturday to Friday Eastern Time and paying on Mondays, with one point for every $0.02 of rake. It replaced the bad beat jackpot in August 2013 and has paid out more than $35 million since.

• Blitz Beast: a separate race for fast-fold players worth about $30,000 a week.
• Sit & Crush: the tournament players’ race, which has paid over $8 million.
• Freerolls: several $50 guaranteed freerolls every day, capped at 2,000 players.
• Reloads: the latest was a 50% match up to $500 with a reload code, running September 3 to 10.
• Refer a friend: $50 for your first qualified referral, once they deposit $25 and rake $25.
• Casino rebate: 10% back on weekly net casino losses over $200, claimed on Mondays.

The Beast isn’t free money. In ACR’s own example, $0.24 of a $3 rake goes into it, so you pay for the race whether or not you place.

VIP / Loyalty Program

Elite Benefits is ACR’s loyalty scheme, with six military ranks from Lieutenant to 5-Star General. You earn 5.5 Rank Points per $1 of rake, and each rank turns them into Combat Points at a better rate, from 1 per Rank Point as a Lieutenant to 5 as a 5-Star General.

At 100 Combat Points to $1, that’s about 5.5% back at the entry rank and about 27.5% at the very top at that rate, and nearer 44% for a 5-Star General cashing out at the top 625,000-points-for-$10,000 rate, before medals worth $10 to $200 and a $20,000 reward at 1,000,000 Rank Points.

The alternative is a flat rakeback deal, which two independent reviews put at 27%, but you have to choose. Rakeback players can’t use Elite Benefits, switching takes an email and up to 72 hours, your points reset, and you only get one switch back.

Wagering Requirements

There’s no casino-style wagering on the Poker bonus. You release it through Award Points, at $1 for every 27.5 points, inside 60 days, and Elite Benefits points can’t be used to clear it.

Reload bonuses work the same way at a slower rate, $5 for every 120 Award Points over 30 days. If you only play a few sessions a week, the full $2,000 is a stretch.

Cash Games

ACR spreads No-Limit, Pot-Limit and Fixed-Limit Hold’em from $0.01/$0.02, plus PLO, Omaha Hi/Lo, Blitz fast-fold, All-In or Fold and bomb pots four times an hour at 6-max and 9-max tables. Straddles are no longer offered. Every Winning Poker Network skin shares one player pool, so you sit with Black Chip and True Poker players too. Run it Twice is available when both players agree, you can play up to 24 tables at once, and 7-day No Rathole tables at $0.10/$0.25 to $50/$100 lock your stack if you leave and come back.

ACR keeps its cash traffic private. The Winning Poker Network doesn’t report cash-game data to the trackers, so there’s no fair comparison with CoinPoker or GGPoker. On tournaments the network ranks tenth on the trackers, with about 54,671 daily entries on a 30-day average.

Tournaments

Tournaments are why people play here. The Venom runs October 4 to 21, 2026 with $6.5 million guaranteed across a $5 million No-Limit Hold’em PKO and a $1.5 million PLO PKO, each at $2,650, with satellites from $0. Around it, Venom Specials add over $10 million in guarantees from $16.50 to $2,650, and last year’s champion won more than $675,000.

The Online Super Series matches it. Its XL edition ran September 6 to 29 with over $50 million guaranteed across 336 tournaments, including a $2.5 million Main Event and nosebleeds from $5,000 to $25,000. ACR advertises more than $9 million in guaranteed prize pools every week, and in 2019 the Venom earned a Guinness World Records title for the largest crypto jackpot in an online Poker tournament.

Spinz, ACR’s jackpot Sit & Gos, run from $0.25 to $100 with a random multiplier worth up to 12,000x your buy-in, which comes up once in 10,000,000 games.

Rake & Fees

No-limit and pot-limit games are raked at 5% using the Weighted Contributed method, and the caps are where ACR wins.

A $3 cap at $0.50/$1 beats WPT Global’s $4, CoinPoker’s $5 and Stake Poker’s $8. Fixed-limit runs 4.5% at micro stakes and 1% from $20/$40 up, and tournament fees are about 10% of the buy-in, less on the bigger events. Our Bitcoin Poker guide compares rake across more rooms.

Casino & Sports

ACR adds three casinos, 777 Slots Casino, Classic Casino and Live Dealer Casino, with Slots from studios like Bgaming, Betsoft, Endorphina and Mascot, plus a sportsbook with live betting from the major leagues to esports. You move money from Poker to the sportsbook with Transfer Funds.

Keep in mind that casino and sports play don’t count toward the 10% rake rule on withdrawals, so they’re extras, not a reason to deposit.

Deposits

ACR takes USDT, Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Litecoin, Dogecoin and more, with deposits from $10 to $25,000 a transaction and no limit on how many you make. Every game runs in US dollars, so crypto converts on the way in and out, and the exchange rate is held for 15 minutes once you request an address.

The fiat list is long for an offshore room. Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Amex work where available, Luxon Pay runs $10 to $10,000, e-wallets go to $25,000, player-to-player transfers run up to $30,000, and there’s Canadian e-transfer and Brazilian PIX. Watch the card fees, though. The banking page lists a 10% fee on Visa deposits, while the card page says there’s none, so check the cashier before you pay.

Withdrawals

ACR says 90% of crypto withdrawals finish in under 15 minutes, and crypto is processed seven days a week with no ACR fee. Its own pages give other times as well, from within an hour to 24 hours, and the terms allow up to 15 business days if a payout is under review.

The 10% Rake Rule

Most players miss this rule. Before any withdrawal you must have generated Poker rake or tournament fees equal to at least 10% of everything you’ve deposited, and casino, sportsbook and racebook play doesn’t count. ACR says it’s there to show the account is used for Poker, not for moving money.

On top of that you have to wait 72 hours after a deposit before requesting a payout.

Withdrawal Limits

• Crypto: $50 to $10,000, one payout every 24 hours and up to five a week.
• Luxon Pay: $50 to $25,000.
• Checks: $100 to $3,000 for US and Canadian players, one free by mail every 30 days, or $55 by courier.
• Canadian e-transfer: $100 to $2,200, for players in Canada only.
• Person-to-person pickup: $100 to $350, with a $60 to $70 fee.

For most players those limits are fine. The one-a-day crypto cap is what slows down a big tournament score.

Website Design and UI

ACR runs on a downloadable client for Windows and separate Mac builds for Apple-chip and Intel Macs. The software has run on the SJH platform since the network moved to it in 2019. It handles up to 24 tables, a 90-second time bank and final tables you can watch with hole cards on a 30-minute delay. The software comes in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Chinese.

It’s built for serious players. The homepage promises downloadable hand histories and full HUD support, and since March 2024 you can hover over an avatar to see which country an opponent plays from. The live count of players online only shows inside the client, and table chat is limited to English or Spanish. The Windows installer is about 141 MB and the Mac builds run 172 to 178 MB, so it’s a proper download rather than a quick install.

Mobile App

There is no ACR app on the App Store or Google Play, so there is no iOS or Android download. On an iPhone or Android phone you open the web app at app.acrpoker.eu and save it to your home screen, and on Android the menu covers Blitz, Spinz and tournaments, plus the casino and sportsbook. It works well enough, but you will not get the full desktop line-up on mobile.

Customer Service

Support is email at [email protected], a contact form and a virtual assistant, and there’s no phone line or live chat with a person. Email replies take 24 to 72 hours, and support is in English and Spanish only, which is slow for a room this size even though the homepage promises a 24/7 team. The contact form does at least route you properly, with reasons from Withdrawals and Documents to a Gameplay-Report and a Refund Request.

Responsible Gambling

The client lets you cap tournament buy-ins, set stop losses, hide games, take a temporary exclusion for a set time frame under Settings > Responsible Gaming, and ban the casino, Poker or sportsbook separately. Self-exclusion is permanent and can’t be reversed. The terms say you can’t set your own deposit limits, which is a gap.
