Roobet First Crypto Casino to Launch Native Prediction Markets

Roobet went live with native prediction markets at roobet.com/predictions on May 6, 2026. The format lets players price real-world outcomes across sports, culture, and global events using the same Roobet account and crypto balance they already use for slots and sportsbook wagers. No second app, no second wallet, no second KYC.

That’s the new bit. Standalone prediction-market platforms have existed for years. Roobet is the first major crypto casino to integrate the format natively into its core product, which is a different proposition.

What’s Actually Live

The launch portfolio features formats that have driven the standalone platforms’ growth: sports outcomes, entertainment events, and politics. Roobet says the initial markets are tied to major upcoming global events, with continuous expansion planned across sports, entertainment, and internet culture.

I checked the product on launch day and the integration sits as a third tab alongside Casino and Sportsbook. The same crypto balance funds positions, settled in BTC, ETH, or LTC the same way regular wagers settle. For players already used to the Roobet interface, the friction is genuinely zero.

Why Prediction Markets Matter for Crypto Casinos

The numbers tell the competitive story. Monthly prediction-market volume jumped from $1.2 billion in early 2025 to more than $20 billion in January 2026, according to blockchain-research firm TRM Labs. The two largest standalone platforms, Polymarket and Kalshi, are now valued at a combined $30 billion-plus between them.

Until now those volumes have lived almost entirely outside the crypto-casino ecosystem. Players who wanted exposure to event contracts had to leave their casino balances behind, fund a separate Polymarket or Kalshi account, and learn a different interface.

The upside for Roobet is obvious. Capture even a small slice of $20 billion in monthly contract volume and the casino has a meaningful new revenue line that’s structurally different from slot hold and sportsbook margin. Prediction markets typically charge maker/taker fees rather than running a house book, so the maths is closer to an exchange than a casino.

First-Mover in a Crowded Race

Stake, BC.Game, and Shuffle have not announced equivalent products. The standalone platforms have the brand recognition and liquidity advantage, but Roobet has the distribution: an existing player base already onboarded, KYC’d, and funded.

The regulatory angle is also worth noting. Kalshi is CFTC-regulated in the US and is the only platform that can legally serve American customers for event contracts at scale. Polymarket grew offshore and is geo-blocked in the US. Roobet is licensed under a Curaçao framework that does not authorize US play, which puts Roobet’s prediction markets in the same offshore-only bucket as Polymarket for American users.
