At the time of writing, TopBet offers a separate welcome bonus for both casino and sports enthusiasts.

For their part, once they have registered, sports betting enthusiasts can claim a bonus of R30, which must be used on bets with odds of over 1.5, and the casino bonus applies to the Aviator game and requires a minimum deposit of R50. This unlocks up to 10 Bonus Flights depending on the size of your deposit, with each one being worth R2.

While the separate new player bonus is welcome, the size of each bonus is not as large as we expected. We also weren’t pleased by the fact that the sports welcome bonus must be used within 24 hours, while the Bonus Flights from the casino welcome bonus must be used within 48 hours of being credited. Whatever one you choose, this doesn’t give players much time at all to make use of the offers.

Ongoing Promotions

TopBet’s selection of existing player bonuses is also mixed, as the only ones that qualify as bonuses are the Referral bonus, Birthday bonus, and Weekly Cashback on Sports.

The Referral bonus rewards players with R200 for each referral they make, although there are some strict conditions attached. Although the lump sum is generous, it requires players to have deposited at least R100 since signing up, and each referral must deposit and bet at least R50. They must also use the specific TopBet promo code that is contained in the Terms and Conditions.

For its part, the Birthday bonus is worth R50 and must be used within 7 days. It should also be noted that this must be used up in one bet, and qualifying odds sit at 1.5 minimum.

Finally, the Weekly Cashback on Sports is 10% of your wagers that were placed from the previous Wednesday to the following Tuesday. However, there are additional conditions to take into account, in that you need to have a net loss of at least R100, and the losses have to be on bets with odds of at least 1.5.

These bonuses are undoubtedly a nice touch, but there really isn’t much to make use of overall.
