The Lucky Fish login page exists for one reason: South African players who already have a Lucky Fish account need to get in without fighting the site for it. How to log in on desktop

1. Open luckyfish.co.za in your browser. The Login button sits in the top-right corner of the homepage, in the brand teal colour.
2. Click Login. The form opens as an overlay rather than a separate page, so the homepage stays behind it.
3. Enter your username and password. Hit the eye icon next to the password field to confirm you’ve typed it right before submitting.
4. Click Log In. Most accounts go straight through. If the device check fires, you’ll get an SMS OTP within 60 seconds.

Browser-saved passwords work cleanly on Chrome, Safari and Firefox. Edge sometimes drops the autofill on the username field specifically; if that happens, type it manually and the password autofill will still trigger.

How to log in on mobile browser

Same flow as desktop. The mobile site is responsive rather than a separate domain, so luckyfish.co.za renders the mobile build automatically when it detects a phone screen. Tap the burger menu (top-left), then Login.

The mobile form sits full-screen, which is easier on small phones than the desktop overlay. Biometric login is supported on iOS Safari and Android Chrome via the browser-level Face ID and fingerprint integration. After the first manual sign-in, the option to enable it appears in the security settings.

How to log in on the Lucky Fish app

Lucky Fish doesn’t currently ship a native iOS app on the Apple App Store. The Android app is on Google Play and installs directly. Login on the Android app:

1. Open the app. The launch screen prompts for credentials if your session has timed out (the app caches login for 14 days by default).
2. Enter your username and password. The app remembers the username field between sessions; you only need to retype the password.
3. Approve the device check if prompted. New-device installs trigger the SMS OTP flow same as the browser; subsequent logins on the same device skip it.
4. Enable fingerprint or Face ID after the first successful login. The toggle is under Account > Security > Biometric login. Worth doing on day one.

Forgotten your Lucky Fish password

The Forgot Password link sits below the password field on every login screen. Tap it, enter the email address on file (not the username), and Lucky Fish sends a reset link valid for 24 hours.

If the reset email doesn’t arrive inside 5 minutes, check the spam folder first. Lucky Fish sends from a no-reply@luckyfish.co.za address that some Gmail filters mis-route. If it still doesn’t show up after 10 minutes, your account email might be different from what you remember. The fix in that case is contacting support with your ID number and they’ll trace the account.

Account locked, OTP errors, and login loops

Locked account. Five consecutive failed login attempts triggers a 30-minute lockout. The 30 minutes starts from the last failed attempt, so don’t keep hammering it after the lock fires. Wait it out, then reset the password as the first action when you come back.

OTP not arriving. The SA mobile networks (MTN, Vodacom, Cell C, Telkom) sometimes delay SMS delivery during peak hours. Wait two minutes before tapping Resend; tapping it three times in a row puts the OTP queue on a 10-minute cooldown that’s worse than the wait.

Login loop. The login form sometimes refreshes back to itself without an error message. This is usually a session-cookie issue with the browser. Clear cookies for luckyfish.co.za specifically (not all cookies), close the browser tab, and reopen. Works 90% of the time.

FICA verification and your login

FICA verification is mandatory before your first withdrawal under SA’s Financial Intelligence Centre Act. Lucky Fish lets you log in and play immediately after registration, but the first cashout attempt is what triggers the FICA gate.

If you skipped FICA at signup, your login will work fine until you hit the cashier.
