How to Sign Up at Vegas Gems
Vegas Gems Review [Updated for 2026]

Vegas Gems is relatively new to the sweepstakes casino industry, having been launched in 2023. Despite its relative newness, the casino gets a number of things right, such as its Responsible Gambling tools and its customer support offering.
The casino has leaned into its name for its two in-play currencies, calling its Gold Coins Shards, and its Sweeps Coins Gems. In line with the industry standard, Vegas Gems mandates a 1x wagering requirement on all Gems, and each token is worth $1. However, the minimum requirement of 100 Gems for Cash Prizes is quite high, although Gift Card redemptions are also offered starting from 25 Gems.
Although the casino has its flaws, this is true of any new sweepstakes casino. Despite its few weaknesses, Vegas Gems performs well across a number of key metrics, making it very easy for us to recommend to potential players.
1️⃣ Trust & Safety
Licensing and Legal Compliance

As Vegas Gems is a sweeps casino, it doesn’t require a license to operate. The casino fully complies with all the necessary sweepstakes laws, which means players have no concerns over its legitimacy.
Vegas Gems is also available in the vast majority of the United States, with only players from Idaho, Michigan, Nevada, and Washington barred from playing on the casino website.
Players must be at least 18 to create an account with the casino, which is in line with the industry standard.
Score: 20/20
Encryption and Security
The Vegas Gems website is kept secure due to 256-bit SSL encryption software. As many casinos use SSL encryption to protect their website, this demonstrates the software’s usefulness in preventing security breaches.
Score: 20/20
Reputation & Customer Reviews

Vegas Gems’ Trustpilot reputation is solid, particularly for a relatively new sweeps casino. The casino currently enjoys an average rating of 4.1 stars, albeit this is only from 252 reviews. Still, the signs are positive, as 84% of the existing reviews are 5 stars.
Although the casino has yet to reply to any negative reviews, we are willing to give Vegas Gems the benefit of the doubt for the time being. as there just aren’t that many of them.
Nevertheless, this is an area where the casino definitely needs to improve, as there are a number of reviews that need clarification, if only to stop the damage from players who have an axe to grind.
Score: 30/40
General Terms
The T&Cs are largely as we expected, as all Gems must be wagered at least once to become redeemable, and each token is worth $1 of real money.
Vegas Gems also supports Gift Card redemptions, which come with a respectable minimum requirement of 25 Gems. This is in line with what we expected, although it’s not the lowest threshold we’ve encountered.
The 100 Gems requirement for Cash Prizes is quite steep, and we would definitely like to see this lowered as it would greatly improve accessibility.
However, the banking issues are mitigated somewhat by the fact that both crypto and fiat currency payment options are supported. As well as giving players a greater degree of choice, this also lends itself to faster payout times.

2️⃣ Games

Vegas Gems’ games library has certainly made a solid first impression, as it consists of over 1,100 games. What’s more, these games are provided by some major developers, such as Habanero, 3 Oaks Gaming, and Betsoft.
Although the library could certainly do with diversification, it is more than good enough for most sweepstakes casino enthusiasts.
Slots

With over 1,000 online Slots to choose from, Vegas Gems has ensured that fans of this popular gaming category have more than enough to keep themselves entertained for a long while.
As well as providing a solid number of options, the casino’s Slots games are also developed by leading software developers such as Belatara and Betsoft, although up-and-coming developers like Popiplay are also represented.
If you’re looking for some suggestions, we would encourage you to check out Baba Yaga by Habanero, Amazon City of Gold by Popiplay, and Sky Pearls Hold and Win by 3 Oaks Gaming.
Score: 20/20
Table Games
Although the selection of Table Games at Vegas Gems isn’t as vast as its Slots selection, the 60+ games on offer are more than enough to cater to most fans’ preferences.
This is particularly true of Poker enthusiasts, although fans of Blackjack, Sic Bo, and Baccarat should find more than enough to keep themselves entertained as well.
Unfortunately there are no Live Casino options available at the moment, and we’d really like to see this rectified as it would offer a much more immersive experience.
Score: 13/20
Originals Games
Unfortunately the Originals section is very disappointing, as the only option currently available is Vegas Gems’ own Scratch Card.
However, despite being the only option, we found the game to be very entertaining. You can double your stake for a bigger prize if you’re feeling brave, and this game is also eligible to win premium currency as well.
Most importantly, however, the Scratch Card is Provably Fair, so players have no doubts that the outcome is completely random.

3️⃣ Bonuses & Promos
Vegas Gems’ bonus selection is solid overall, albeit there are parts of it that won’t be to everyone’s taste.
However, there are still several ways for both new and existing players to get their hands on both Gems and Shards.
Welcome Bonus

Although Vegas Gems offers a no deposit welcome bonus, this is definitely not going to be to everyone’s taste.
Players can get up to 1,000 Gems, which equates to $1,000 of real money, but there is no free-to-play currency on offer here. More importantly, the size of the reward is not guaranteed, so players could end up with a measly amount just as they could get the maximum.
On the bright side, the first purchase bonus is much better. Vegas Gems offers players one of two options. They can either unlock 50% extra Gems on purchases up to $20, or get 10% extra Gems for Shards bundles up to $100.
This option might require players to part with money, but it goes some way to healing the points damage done by the poor welcome bonus.
Score: 18/30
Ongoing Promotions
As is the case with the welcome bonus, the bonuses for existing players are also largely down to personal preference, and certainly won’t be right for everyone. Although the welcome offers aren’t great, fortunately this isn’t also the case with the bonuses for existing players, as there are plenty of ways to get your hands on both free-to-play and premium currency.
The easiest way to get free currency is through the Daily Login bonus, although the amount of Shards and Gems isn’t guaranteed. To encourage players to stick around, the casino offers better prizes to players with higher XP levels.
Players can also take advantage of the Mail-In bonus, although again the prizes aren’t guaranteed here. Players can win between 10 and 15 Gems, but your individual prize will be based on luck.
Interestingly, Vegas Gems’ Referral bonus is not what we were expecting. Rather than offering a guaranteed prize, Vegas Gems offers a share of between 1 and 10% of the revenue generated by referred individuals for players who manage to get others to sign up. This revenue is paid out monthly.
Although the casino offers players the ability to win prizes without spending money, it also locks some bonuses behind paywalls. The Gems Rain feature takes place every hour, and rewards all verified users with a portion of all Gems wagers made by active players. However, to qualify for this, players must have spent at least $10 on purchases in the last 7 days.
There is also a Rakeback feature that takes place Daily, Weekly, and Monthly. How much you receive depends on your wagers, with players who have played more games getting a higher share.
Score: 20/25
Loyalty Program
All players at Vegas Gems can benefit from a tiered VIP Program in the form of Bejeweled Chests. The Program offers better benefits as you climb the ladder.
Bejeweled Chests are made available to players who have met the required conditions and offer Shards and Gems prizes. To start, you need to make a 20,000 Shards purchase to get Level 1 Bejeweled.
We are big fans of this VIP Program, as this encourages players to keep coming back for more. Although the prize model might not be to everyone’s taste, we enjoyed anticipating the rewards we would receive.
Score: 25/25
Wagering Terms and Conditions
The wagering T&Cs at Vegas Gems are exactly as we expected. Gems are worth $1 each and come with a 1x wagering requirement before they are eligible for redemption.
Players can redeem Gems for either Cash Prizes or Gift Cards, although we feel that the 100 Gems requirement for Cash Prizes is very high. That said, the minimum threshold for Gift Cards is much more reasonable at 25 eligible Gems.
Redemption times will vary based on the method you choose. Gift Cards and cryptocurrency Cash Prizes take 1 day, although players who opt for a Bank Transfer face a wait of anywhere between 3 and 5 days. This might not be great, but the wait times for Bank Transfers could certainly be a lot worse.

4️⃣ Payments & Banking
Purchase Methods

Vegas Gems offers a solid range of payment options, with fiat options such as Visa and Mastercard, as well as the cryptocurrencies of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Ripple, and Tether.
Players who want to easily boost their account balances can choose from 10 Shards bundles, and all of these come with a premium currency bonus attached. Whichever bundle you choose, the Gems bonus will be directly proportional to the Shards bundle you purchase.
Score: 20/20
Redemption Methods
Although the deposit options are solid, this is not the case for redemptions. Players are only able to turn to Bank Transfers and Gift Cards.
Although the minimum requirement of 25 Gems for Gift Card redemptions is reasonable, we feel that the 100 Gems requirement for Cash Prizes is far too high.
However, the damage caused by the high Cash Prize redemption requirement was somewhat mitigated by the solid redemption times. Players who opt for a cryptocurrency redemption can receive their winnings within a day.
Score: 18/25
Transaction Security and Fairness
There is no question as to whether or not Vegas Gems plays fair in terms of transactions, as the casino is compliant with all the necessary laws.
The wagering requirements are the standard 1x, so players know exactly what to expect. As well as this, the casino will honor all players’ payout requests who meet the minimum requirements.
Furthermore, the casino also protects its players’ financial data with secure SSL encryption software. The payment options are also secure in their own right, as they each have their own protective measures, which adds an extra layer of security.

5️⃣ User Experience
Website Design & Navigation

Vegas Gems has clearly prioritized the overall user experience, and this is made clear in a number of ways.
The games library has a range of filters that can help you find the type of game you are looking for, and shortcuts to key areas of the website can be found under the Quick Access tab.
The fact that you can access all your transactions, betting history, wins, and more via the Stats page is also very welcome, as it provides a clear overview of your betting experience. We haven’t encountered many sweeps casinos that offer this feature, so we’re more than happy to give Vegas Gems praise for this.
Mobile Gaming
As good as the Vegas Gems casino site is, mobile casino players are not provided with a mobile app, although a Progressive Web App is made available to iOS and Android players spending on the device you have.
In our opinion, players would be better off sticking to the standard mobile site, as this allows them to enjoy the same high-quality experience as desktop users.
Score: 13/20
Customer Support
Vegas Gems’ customer support offering is largely positive, as players can get in touch via emailing support@vegasgems.com, messaging the casino on X, or by taking advantage of the Live Chat feature. The Live Chat feature is especially welcome, as its availability is very hit-and-miss at sweeps casinos.
Having tested all the support methods, we experienced helpful and prompt responses across each channel. Although Live Chat was obviously the fastest communication method, the reply from the email team came within 24 hours. This was a very welcome surprise, as this method is notoriously slow.
However, the customer support offering at Vegas Gems isn’t without its weaknesses. In particular we would really like to see the FAQ page improved, as it really isn’t that helpful as it stands.
Score: 26/30
Responsible Gaming Measures

Put simply, Vegas Gems’ Responsible Gambling tools are excellent. Standard tools such as deposit limits and temporary self-exclusion are made available, along with practical advice for dealing with problem gambling.
Although standard tools are provided, the casino also goes further to help protect its players as much as possible. We really liked the fact that you can adjust the self-exclusion to suit your needs, from 1 hour all the way up to 30 days. This makes it much more likely that players will pick the time-out period they need.
A self-assessment tool is also available, which is especially useful as it can help players face up to the reality of their gambling habits without the fear of judgement. This makes it much more likely that players will answer truthfully, and be in a position to get help should they need it.
Finally, the casino’s Stats page can also prove a useful Responsible Gambling tool, as it lays out the undeniable truth of your individual transactions, your profit/loss margins, and more. As this data is irrefutable, this could prove very useful in ensuring players realize they need to get help.

Summary
Taking everything into account, we are happy to recommend Vegas Gems to potential players.
The casino performs very well across numerous vital areas, most clearly in terms of its User Experience commitments, which we believe is the most vital area for any business. The banking options are also solid, which gives players much greater flexibility than we are used to seeing from a sweeps casino, and Vegas Gems offers solid bonuses for both its new and existing customers.
Although the games library needs more options such as Live Dealer games and in-house Originals, this is an easy fix, and we believe this will be addressed in time.
