Scratchee sells Access Packs. A pack buys you a set number of days inside the Savings Hub, a discount directory covering four categories, and packs start at $10. In Scratchee’s own words, select packs “come with a complimentary Scratchee attached as a promotional bonus”. So the scratch card is the sweetener on a discount subscription, not the thing you are buying. That distinction is what keeps the model outside gambling law, and it is also the single most important thing to understand before you spend.

Win, and the cash credits to your Scratchee Wallet straight away. From there you can buy more Scratchees or withdraw. The line to hold on to is in the Master Rules: only prize money can leave, because “any dollar values deposited onto the platform to purchase discount hub access cannot later be redeemed via gift card”. Your $10 buys hub access. It is spent. Only what you win on the cards is yours to take out.

What the Savings Hub actually contains

Scratchee says savings reach up to 55% with some partners. Whether a pack is worth $10 depends entirely on whether you would have used those discounts anyway. Price the hub as a coupon book and treat the scratch card as the free extra, and you will judge this site correctly. Do it the other way round and you are paying $10 a time for lottery tickets.
