MonkeySpins is a new sweepstakes casino, having only been established in 2025. It popped up on our radar during our hunt for sweeps casinos that still needed reviewing, so we were interested to see how it performed.

It looks like a decent platform at first glance, but, of course, first impressions aren’t everything. With this being the case, we have analyzed the casino in depth, as this will allow us to provide both the good and the bad of MonkeySpins, and whether or not we recommend it overall.

Licensing and Legal Compliance

MonkeySpins operates under sweepstakes laws rather than a gambling license, which is standard for this type of casino.

However, its availability is fairly limited. The platform is restricted in Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New York, and Washington. That’s a significant chunk of the player base excluded.

The minimum age requirement is 18 years old, which is in line with the industry standard.

Although it only launched recently at the time of writing, MonkeySpins has a solid Trustpilot reputation of 4.6 stars based on 146 reviews. The casino is also active in replying to the bad reviews. They have a 100% reply record, typically responding within a week.

That said, we’re not sure what to make of this overwhelmingly positive picture, though. There’s just too much about this site that needs fixing to get this high of a score from the start. Also, it’s very easy to have a 100% reply record when only 3% of the existing reviews are negative.

General Terms

At the beginning, the T&Cs regarding Sweeps Coins were as we expected. All Sweeps Coins must be wagered at least once to become redeemable, and each token is worth $1 of real money.

On top of this, you need 100 Sweeps Coins for a Cash Prize redemption. This may be in line with the industry standard, but it’s still too high for our liking.

Unfortunately, the redemption times aren’t great. Visa and Mastercard redemptions take up to 5 business days, rising to 10 business days for a Bank Transfer.

Welcome Bonus

MonkeySpins’s no deposit bonus is solid, offering 100,000 Gold Coins and 2.5 Sweeps Coins. This makes a respectable first impression, particularly the amount of premium currency, which is in line with what we have come to expect.

On top of this, the casino makes a solid first purchase bonus available to new players that rewards 400,000 Gold Coins and 21 Sweeps Coins for $4.98. Unfortunately, the outcome doesn’t match up to the potential here, as Sweeps Coins winnings are capped at 200, which is far too low.

Ongoing Promotions

Unfortunately, there aren’t that many bonuses for existing players as it stands. The only options here are a Mail-In bonus and a Referral bonus.

The Mail-In bonus of 1 Sweeps Coins isn’t worth your time, especially given how long it takes to be credited to your account.

For its part, the Referral bonus offers a very generous 400,000 Gold Coins and 10 Sweeps Coins, but this requires each referral to spend at least $40. Needless to say, this makes it unlikely that you’ll actually get this reward.

Although the betting requirements confused us, the wagering terms and conditions were as we expected. All Sweeps Coins are worth 1 USD and must be wagered at least once to become eligible for redemption.

On top of this, players in Florida are capped at a rate of $5,000 a day, which is in line with the industry standard.

Deposit Methods

Even for a new sweeps casino, the payment methods at MonkeySpins are seriously poor. The only deposit methods we were able to find were Visa and Mastercard.

The good news is that the Gold Coins bundles are all solid. Including the first purchase bonus, there are 7 bundles available, and all come with a Sweeps Coins bonus attached. These also range from $4.98 to $249.99, making them accessible to all playing budgets.

However, it’s worth pointing out that these don’t stretch as far as you may think due to the inflated betting limits.

MonkeySpins’s redemption process leaves quite a bit to be desired. There are no Gift Card options here, and the only supported methods are Visa, Mastercard, and a Bank Transfer.

Whichever method you choose, you’ll need at least 100 Sweeps Coins to make a redemption. Redemption times aren’t great, taking up to 5 business days through Visa and Mastercard, which increases to 10 business days for a Bank Transfer. Whichever way you look at it, this is far too long on all counts.

This sweeps casino works well from a visual perspective, with bright colours that draw in your attention without straining your eyesight.

However, it’s not such good news from a user experience perspective. Although it works well for the most part, we were disappointed to see that a variety of filters didn’t work properly. This made the user experience feel clunky, resulting in a more amateurish feel than MonkeySpins perhaps deserves.

MonkeySpins doesn’t have any mobile apps, which is predictable if still disappointing.

This is bad enough for mobile casino customers, but what makes the mobile experience even worse is the fact that you’ll encounter the same problems here as you will on a computer.

The customer support options at MonkeySpins channels currently consist of email and Live Chat. You can also reach out to the casino’s social media channels on X, Instagram, and Facebook, but these aren’t designed as proper support options like the email and Live Chat.

Unfortunately, there is no FAQ section, Help Center, or phone support. We’d really like to see this fixed as soon as possible, starting with the FAQ page that should be available as standard.

MonkeySpins shows potential, but its flaws outweigh its strengths right now. The main problems that need fixing are the cap on winnings from the first purchase bonus, and the ridiculously inflated betting amounts. Once these glaring issues are dealt with, the casino can turn its efforts to less immediate but still pressing concerns, such as the unresponsive filters and lack of promotions.

We acknowledge that MonkeySpins is a new sweepstakes casino, but until it sorts itself out, we can’t recommend it as a viable option. For now, you’re better off looking elsewhere.
