The T&Cs regarding Sweeps Coins were as we expected. All Sweeps Coins must be wagered at least once to become redeemable, and each token is worth $1 of real money.

On top of this, you need 100 Sweeps Coins for a Cash Prize redemption. This may be in line with the industry standard, but it’s still too high for our liking.

As well as this, the redemption times aren’t great, as Bank Transfers can take anywhere from 3 to 5 days on average.

Welcome Bonus

Jumbo88 welcomes all new players with a no deposit bonus, although the reward of 10,000 Gold Coins and 1 Sweeps Coin isn’t great. You can do a fair bit of exploring with it, but not as much as we would have hoped for.

Despite the fairly disappointing welcome offer, Jumbo88 is somewhat able to make up for it by offering two very tempting first purchase offers to players. Players can either receive 20,000 Gold Coins and 20 Sweeps Coins for $9.99, or opt for 80,000 Gold Coins + 80 Sweeps Coins for $39.99. Yet, although they’re both good value, there’s a sizable price difference which may dictate which one is best for you.

Ongoing Promotions

Although it offers solid first purchase bonuses, Jumbo88’s array of bonuses for existing players is simply woeful.

As it stands, the only concrete bonus we were able to find is a Mail-In bonus of 1 Sweeps Coin. The idea of getting free currency is nice, but this reward isn’t worth the time and effort it takes to fill the request out, and that’s before you get to the inevitable long wait attached to this incentive as well.

We did manage to find some rotating purchase deals, but these vary in size and scope, and as they change often we doubt these are actually worth it. If you want to make a purchase, you are better off sticking to the standard Gold Coins bundles that Jumbo88 provides.

Deposit Methods

Jumbo88’s range of payment options is fairly solid for deposits, with Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay available to use. This is a wider range than we are used to seeing from new sweeps casinos, giving players a better chance of finding the banking method that suits them best.

There are also 10 Gold Coins bundles on offer including the first purchase bundles, and all but the cheapest $4.99 bundle come with a Sweeps Coins bonus.

This is disappointing, as we’d like to see premium currency bonuses made available at that price point. However, we were pleased to see that the options go up to $299.99, so there’s something for all playing budgets here.

Although the deposit methods are solid, this unfortunately doesn’t extend to redemptions. The 100 Sweeps Coins minimum requirement is irritating, but it’s the other limitations that are more concerning.

Bank Transfers are your only choice here, which means you face a wait of up to 5 days. Although the redemption limits are predictable at $10,000 a day outside of Florida, where the limit drops to $5,000, there is an essential caveat to mention. Redemptions over $500 will be subject to extra KYC checks. This will likely extend the waiting time, as if 5 days wasn’t already bad enough.

At the time we tested Jumbo88, the only way to get in touch with the customer support team was by emailing support@jumbo88.com. The good news is that this is available 24/7, although there is also the inevitable drawback of slower response times that is associated with this communication method. The support team was able to adhere to its pledge of responding within 24 hours, though, so you won’t have to wait too long.

There’s also a FAQ page that covers a range of common queries, which helps to alleviate some of the pressure from newcomers.

As helpful as the support team was, though, we can’t help but wish that a Live Chat feature were available. We understand that Jumbo88 is new, but adding this feature would make it much easier to receive a fast response.

Unfortunately, Responsible Gambling is an area where Jumbo88 needs to improve its offering urgently. You can request both a temporary and permanent self-exclusion by getting in touch with the casino’s customer support team, but that’s as far as the support tools went when we tested the casino out.

There weren’t any restrictive tools in place, so there was no way for players to keep themselves in line, short of willpower. The fact that you can’t impose a time-out or self-exclusion by yourself isn’t great either.

Overall, Jumbo88 gets more right than it does wrong, despite its newness. In particular, we were especially impressed by the varied games library, which marks a substantial change from the fairly standard formula of new sweeps casinos focusing almost exclusively on Slots. The customer support was solid as well, even if it wasn’t as fast as we would have liked.

Although refinements need to be made, such as the introduction of Live Chat support, offering faster redemption options, and increasing both the quality and quantity of the bonuses, these aren’t enough to dissuade us from our overall conclusion that Jumbo88 is worth trying out in its current form.
