GummyPlay operates under the sweepstakes model and is owned by SWPMTECH LTD, a company registered in Limassol, Cyprus. That might set off alarm bells for some, but it’s important to remember that sweeps casinos do not need a proper license to operate.

The important thing is that GummyPlay complies with sweepstakes law and geofences states including Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Washington, West Virginia, and District of Columbia (D.C.).

GummyPlay hasn’t been around long enough to build a huge reputation, but the early signs are positive. There are a few Reddit threads praising the site for its rewards and gameplay variety, but we’re not going to draw too many conclusions from the two Trustpilot reviews that were available when we reviewed GummyPlay.

There’s limited chatter, but we didn’t uncover any horror stories either. We found no major complaints about slow redemptions or banned accounts, which is usually a good sign, and all the serious review sites suggest this is a legit and solid casino.

General Terms

The Terms and Conditions are light. There’s the standard waiver of class action lawsuits, some mild restrictions on multiple accounts, and the usual reminder that you don’t own your Gold Coins. What’s missing, though, is clarity about non-US players, and we’d really like to see a more fleshed-out responsible gambling policy.

The top games on offer when we logged in included Le Bandit, Cash Pig, Lady Wolf Moon Megaways, and Fire in the Hole. We also found fun exclusives like Gummy Rush and Candy Jackpots that played to the casino’s sweet theme.

The filtering system is simple and mobile-first, which is a plus, but we’d like to see game stats (RTP, volatility, etc.) displayed more clearly, especially on desktop. There isn’t a demo mode either, which is a shame, and you need to sign in and supply a phone number to browse the game library in the first place.

Live Casino

There’s a small selection of Live Dealer games at GummyPlay. You’ll find a couple of Roulette-style game shows, Dragon Tiger, Casino Hold’Em Poker, a few Live Scratch Cards, and some casual live-action experiences.

There are basic Blackjack and Baccarat selections, too, so most of the staples are covered. It isn’t groundbreaking, but it’s a solid selection for a fledgling social casino and we think there will be more on the way.

The $9.99 coin package offers solidvalue, providing 350,000 GC and 15 SC, which is easily enough to rack up a serious amount of free play time, as well as contribute toward the redemption threshold.

Ongoing Bonuses

The Daily Login bonus is limited to Gold Coins. You get 10,000 Gold Coins every 24 hours, and there’s also a Daily Spin Wheel, regular social media giveaways, and leaderboard Slots tournaments with SC and GC prizes.

One of the biggest freebies comes as a surprise, which is the birthday bonus that hands out 10 free Sweeps Coins and 5,000 Gold Coins on your birthday. There are daily Gold Coin drops, too, and the Alternative Means of Entry is worth 3 Sweeps Coins. It’s a slow process to get this reward, but it does offer solid value.

There is no Referral bonus, which is something we’d like to see change, but there are plenty of ways to grab free Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins.

VIP / Loyalty Program

GummyPlay has a six-tier loyalty ladder that awards bonus coins, better daily rewards, and exclusive promotions as you climb. It starts at Apprentice and goes all the way up to Master level. To get to the top tier you’ll have to hit 100,000 spins and more on a select Slot. 

It’s not the most sophisticated VIP system we’ve seen, but it’s functional and solid. It also comes with increasing discounts and bigger bonuses with the daily drops, making it worth the effort it takes to get there.

Wagering Requirements

All Sweeps Coins must be wagered once before you request a redemption, and the minimum thresholds are 10 SC for Gift Cards and 50 SC for Cash Prizes. That’s absolutely fair, and actually at the low end of the industry standard requirements. We’re calling this one a big win.

Website Design and UI

The site is adorable. Gummy bears, candy canes, and bubble fonts aren’t for everyone, but it works. More importantly, the site is fast, intuitive, and works across all devices.

It’s easy to get around as navigation is clean, and the game lobby filters are functional. What’s more, it’s clear this was built mobile-first. Desktop users might find things a little oversized, but that’s a minor gripe.

Mobile App

Score: 17/20

There isn’t an app, but you do get a fully responsive mobile web experience that runs flawlessly. Games load fast, tap controls are precise, and you can save the site to your home screen as a PWA (Progressive Web App).

The main thing is that the mobile casino site works smoothly and looks good on every device we tried it on, including iOS, Android, and tablet.

Customer Service

Score: 24/30

Support is available via email, contact form, and Live Chat. We tested the Live Chat and got a reply in six minutes. That’s better than average for a sweeps site and we were impressed that a new site has managed to implement customer service at this level so soon.

The FAQ is solid, with useful categories and answers to common KYC, bonus, and redemption questions. Unfortunately there’s no phone support, but that’s not unusual.

Responsible Gambling

There is a responsible gambling section, but it’s pretty light. You can self-exclude or request limits by contacting support, but there are no in-account tools to do this yourself. They’re meeting the minimum standards, but not going above and beyond.

That could be on the agenda down the line, though, and GummyPlay might have focused their efforts on getting the customer service right first. So we’ll wait and see if it comes up with a full suite of tools in the future.

GummyPlay might not be a total game-changer, but it’s fun, clean, and Slots-focused. For a lot of people, that’s exactly what they want. The site is well-designed, the bonuses are fair, and the rewards flow steadily enough to keep casual players engaged.

It could use more table games, some more flexible redemption options, and a deeper responsible play toolkit. But in every other category, GummyPlay hits the sweet spot.
