Funz Casino Review [Updated for 2026]

Funz Casino Game Selection

New social casinos are always cropping up, so what makes Funz Casino stand out from the crowd?

The casino is registered separately but is ultimately owned by IWG Global LLC, which also owns Wild World Casino. So, this isn’t a total newcomer to the game.

Funz looks like a solid start with 250 games, solid Jackpots, and a first purchase bonus offer that gives you 1 million Gold Coins and 30 SC for $10.

It’s available in all but four states, and there’s a lot to like here.

These are early days, as the casino only launched in March 2025, and there’s a lot left to do. But Funz Casino looks like it could turn into something great.

Advantages
250 Games
Available in most states
Tabloe games, not just slots
Disadvantages
Too new for an online reputation
Site is unfinished in places
No responsible gambling section

1️⃣ Trust & Safety

Licensing and Legal Compliance

There is no gaming license here, but Funz is a social casino that must comply with sweepstakes laws. So far, it seems to be doing that, although it is playing a little fast and loose with the restricted states. It’s absolutely following the letter of the law, but a number of other states have taken a stance against the best sweepstakes casinos, and Funz could have played it safer and blocked more.

The only restricted states right now are Idaho, Michigan, Montana, and Washington. Those are states where no sweeps casino dares to tread. It is also restricted in Quebec. The address on the site is in Kentucky. That’s one of the states that has recently introduced new legislation and actively targeted the top sweepstakes casinos, with many withdrawing from the state.

As for compliance, Funz follows all the Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations and has kept the payment and withdrawal methods simple with online bank transfers and major credit and debit cards.

Score: 17/20

Encryption and Security

Funz Casino comes with industry-standard SSL and HTTPS protection, and the geofencing kicks in when you access the games themselves to restrict foreign players and those from restricted states.

To buy a coin package, you must go through the KYC process with a photo ID and bank account verification, so the Sweeps Coins are strictly for US residents.

Score: 18/20

Reputation & Customer Reviews

Funz just hasn’t been around long enough to build a major reputation on user review sites. It doesn’t even have a listing on Trustpilot or active social media accounts, but those things will come.

Bad news travels faster than good, and we can’t find anything negative about the casino online. We’ll take that as an encouraging early sign, but we think the lack of social accounts is strange.

Score: 18/40

General Terms

The site’s Terms and Conditions are quite basic, but there is a class action lawsuit waiver and a clear definition that this isn’t a real-money gambling site. In reality, the terms and conditions are exceptionally light. We’re used to seeing a lot more, and we think these will probably grow over time.

2️⃣ Games

Funz Casino has two major partners: Booming Games and Netgaming. That means it’s pretty limited as things stand, but you get 250 games to choose from. It’s not just Slots, either, as Funz also has the makings of a Table Game section with a dozen titles, although they’re not organized particularly well.

We like that each game comes with a paytable, which provides information on the RTP, Volatility, and Max Win.

Funz Casino Games Selection

The Slots are the heart and soul of the casino, which is normally the case, and because they’re limited to two slightly left-field game providers you’ll see different titles here.

Top games include Piggy Millionaire, Lotus Love, Zeus’s Thunderbolt, and Bison Gold. Funz Casino also offers a solid selection of Megaways titles, Jackpot games, and Hold & Win games. So, while you won’t find the biggest selection, and you’re missing out on some big names, there’s enough here to keep you entertained.

Score: 14/20

Table Games
Toggle answer

It’s a basic Table Games selection, but you’ll find Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, and more at Funz Casino. We’d like to see more and a proper section, as it’s simply one big games lobby right now, and you have to hunt for the Table Games.

There are no Live Dealer games, but we’ll take this as a solid starting point and hope to see a bigger selection as the casino grows.

3️⃣ Bonuses & Promos

The bonuses are barely functional, and we expect to see them improve as time goes on. The Welcome Bonus is just about big enough to take a peek at a game or two, and then you’ll really have to buy a coin package.

Welcome Bonus

The Welcome Bonus is easy to access and you just need to sign up with your Google account, Facebook account, or Email, hit Claim Bonus, and then a rather paltry no deposit bonus of 5 Gold Coins and 0.5 Sweeps Coins will drop into your account.

The first purchase bonus is where you’ll find the real value, and there is only one offer. Spend $10 and you’ll get 1 million Gold Coins and 30 Sweeps Coins, which is huge and a deal that normally should cost $30.99. We’d just like to see more choices, but we think that will come with time.

Score: 14/30

Ongoing Promotions

There’s a Daily Login bonus, which is exactly the same as the welcome bonus: 5 GC and 0.5 SC.

The site also has links to Facebook competitions, an Alternative Means of Entry that adds an unspecified number of Sweeps Coins to your account, and an innovative idea to give you free Gold Coins when you’re running low, so you can keep playing your favorite game a little while longer. The only problem is that the links aren’t active yet.

We’ll give them the benefit of the doubt on that, there’s a lot to get done when you launch a new casino. But we’d like to see those up and running, and a referral bonus, soon. There is no VIP Program either, but we hope to see that all come to pass as the casino gains traction.

Score: 12/25

Wagering Terms and Conditions

You have to wager all Sweeps Coins 1x, which is the industry standard. Even with the big introductory bonus, the wagering terms remain unchanged.

4️⃣ Payments & Banking

Funz Casino, great first purchase bonus

The payment options at Funz Casino are limited, but reliable. You’ll have to go with debit or credit cards to make a deposit, and bank transfers for redemptions.

Purchase Methods

We would love to see some more payment options than Visa or Mastercard. Even a Paysafecard or basic e-wallet like Skrill would be a huge bonus, but they’re not here yet.

So, for now, you’re limited to the major credit cards, and you will have to verify your identity before you can buy a coin package.

Score: 10/20

Redemption Methods

Redemptions are even more restricted than the deposits, as you’re left with Bank Transfers or Gift Cards. These can take 2-7 days to complete as well, so this isn’t the fastest casino when it comes to redemptions.

Again, we’d love to see some options when it comes to withdrawals, but social casinos are notoriously strict when it comes to the cashout rules, and the sweepstakes laws are largely responsible.

5️⃣ User Experience

Website Design & Navigation

The basics of the website are all in place. The design is solid, it loads super fast, and it’s nicely sectioned out. That’s the good news. The bad news is that it just doesn’t feel finished. We’re seeing the same images repeated across multiple tiles, and we even found some Lorem Ipsum dummy text in there and a lot of links that aren’t live yet.

The games lobby could do with more structure as well, as you have to look through the slots to find the table games.

Score: 13/25

Mobile Gaming

The site is mobile optimized and is just as fast and simple on a mobile device as it is on a desktop. The game tiles are large and colourful, the menus collapse into the background, and there’s plenty of screen real estate, and it never feels especially cluttered.

There is no mobile app, but these are early days, and it remains to be seen if one turns up on the app stores soon.

Score: 12/20

Customer Support

Funz has broken with tradition when it comes to customer support and offers WhatsApp-based support, which we’re more used to seeing from major airlines than fledgling casinos. Again, there is good and bad news, as we tested the system and it took more than five hours to get a response. But we’ll just continue giving the benefit of the doubt here and assume that customer support will improve as the casino builds a following.

As well as a customer support email, which took about the same time to get a response, there’s a phone number you can call if things get really serious. We do like that, and when we called, we got an answer.

There isn’t an FAQ just yet, but based on what we’ve seen we’re sure that’s on the way.

Score: 17/30

Responsible Gaming Measures

There’s a Responsible Gaming Policy section on the site, but when you click through, it just leads to the general Terms & Conditions, so they need to fix this in a hurry. Inevitably, there are no tools, and you’ll have to self-exclude and impose spending limits with the help of customer service through the email support system.

This is really an oversight from Funz, and we think they need to work on this section urgently.

Summary

Funz Casino has got the basics in place and could go on to become a top class casino, but they should probably have put in a little more work before the official launch. Now they’re playing catch-up with some important sections like Responsible Gaming, and that is a cause for concern.

The bonuses need work, too, although the first purchase bonus is enormous, and that could go on to become a real selling point.

So, we have mixed emotions with Funz Casino as it stands. There’s lots to do, but it could be a winner in the end. We’ll keep a close eye on these guys.

Funz Casino FAQ

Is Funz Casino a legitimate and trustworthy site?
Toggle answer

Yes, Funz Casino is owned by IWG Global LLC, which is the same group behind Wild World Casino. It has a solid foundation, even though it only launched in 2025, and hasn’t had a chance to get the user review history we like to see. It’s available in all but four US states, uses industry-standard encryption, and enforces KYC checks.

What states are restricted from playing at Funz Casino?
Toggle answer

Funz Casino blocks access to Idaho, Michigan, Montana, and Washington, as well as Quebec, Canada. These restrictions are consistent with sweepstakes compliance laws, although Funz could have taken a more cautious approach by limiting access in additional regions, as some other social casinos have done.

What bonuses and promotions does Funz Casino offer?
Toggle answer

The no deposit Welcome Bonus is 5 GC and 0.5 SC, but spend $10 and you can get 1 million Gold Coins and 30 Sweeps Coins, which is significantly better value than the standard price. While the ongoing promotions are limited, Funz should roll out more in time.

What payment methods can I use at Funz Casino?
Toggle answer

Currently, you can only use Visa and Mastercard to purchase coin packages, with bank transfers used for redemptions. All purchases require identity verification through the KYC process. It’s reliable but limited, and an area where Funz can improve as it grows.

What types of games are available at Funz Casino?
Toggle answer

Funz Casino offers around 250 games from Booming Games and Netgaming, including a mix of slots, jackpot titles, and a few table games like Blackjack and Roulette. There are no live dealer games yet.
