As it only launched in May 2025, we weren’t surprised to see that BankRolla isn’t the finished article yet. However, this doesn’t change the fact that it needs to be analyzed as it currently is for us to determine if it’s a sweepstakes casino worth your time.

The casino makes a solid first impression with 800+ games that cover Slots, Table Games, and Casual games, as well as solid welcome bonuses. The presence of leading software developers such as 3 Oaks Gaming and Novomatic is also welcome, as it shows the casino’s ambition to offer a highly entertaining gaming experience whatever you choose to play.

However, as we’ve learnt the hard way, first impressions aren’t everything. BankRolla might have got off to a good start, but maintaining this first impression upon closer examination is another matter entirely.

Licensing and Legal Compliance

BankRolla operates under sweepstakes laws rather than a gambling license, which is standard for this type of casino. This structure is shared by most sweepstakes casinos, where gameplay is designed around promotional currency systems, redemption thresholds, and compliance rules that prioritise legal accessibility over traditional real-money wagering models.

However, its availability is quite restricted. At present, the casino is unavailable to players in Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia.

The casino also seems to be trying to improve its image, as shown by the fact that it has replied to a fairly respectable 78% of reviews. Yet, again, there is room for improvement here as the average reply time currently sits at around 1 week.

The T&Cs regarding Sweeps Coins were as we expected. All Sweeps Coins must be wagered at least once to become redeemable, and each token is worth $1 of real money.

Players also need a minimum of 100 Sweeps Coins for a Cash Prize redemption. Although this is in line with the industry standard, it’s too high as far as we’re concerned.

The redemption methods are restricted to Bank Transfers, with redemptions typically taking 3 to 5 business days. This isn’t great, but it could be considerably worse.

To its credit, BankRolla helps new players get off to a solid start with its respectable new player bonuses, starting with a generous no deposit bonus of 200,000 Gold Coins and 2 Sweeps Coins. The amount of premium currency might be average, but the amount of Gold Coins here gives players plenty of scope to explore the games library without spending anything.

Once new players have used this up, they have the option to purchase 20,000 Gold Coins and 20 Sweeps Coins for $9.99. This first purchase bundle might not be the largest we’ve seen, but we feel that it balances value and affordability very well. Its reasonable price point also means it is accessible to all players, which is as essential as good value.

Ongoing Promotions

Unfortunately, the promise displayed by BankRolla’s welcome offers doesn’t extend to its selection of existing bonuses. When we tested BankRolla out, the casino was only able to offer a very limited range of incentives.

To its credit, the casino was able to offer Quests and social media promotions that allowed players the chance to boost their account balances, but they were too few and far between to have any meaningful impact.

BankRolla is clearly determined to drive players to its mobile app, as shown by the range of exclusive promotions that were available, although this might have had something to do with the fact that the website was, frankly, a mess.

This was evidenced by the Bug Bounty we found that rewards players for reporting bugs. This reeks of amateurism, as it makes the development team look as though they either can’t do their jobs, or can’t be bothered to.

The only bright spark we could find was the Referral bonus, which offered a very generous 25 Sweeps Coins for each referral you make. Why you’d actually want to put other people through using this site, though, is another matter entirely.

To its credit, BankRolla is able to offer a promising VIP Program, with rewards that would normally make us recommend sticking around. Yet, as good as it is, it’s nowhere near enough to make up for the deficiencies that were present in its bonus offering overall.

As such, given the state of the website when we tested it, we don’t see this Program making a difference to BankRolla’s overall fate that will no doubt await it as it stands.

The wagering terms and conditions were as we expected. All Sweeps Coins are worth 1 USD and must be wagered at least once to become eligible for redemption.

On top of this, the maximum redemption amount is $10,000 per day, which is the usual standard we’re used to. Florida has a lower limit that is capped at $5,000, which is in line with these states’ restrictions.

Sadly, this wasn’t the case with BankRolla, as we encountered many bugs during our test of the website. These caused lots of games to load far more slowly than expected, while others just simply crashed.

The fact that these issues didn’t appear when testing out the device on mobile devices doesn’t change the fact that they shouldn’t even be showing up in the first place.

Interestingly, the casino breaks the mold of not offering an app to its mobile casino users, but again here, promise does not meet execution.

BankRolla’s customer support options make a solid first impression, as email and Live Chat are available for all players to use. Most importantly, the support agents responded to our queries in good time, and they were nothing but helpful. This no doubt cuts down on the need for players to come back for the same issue, as they have a record to refer to should they need it.

However, we do have to say that the FAQ section didn’t look like it was properly addressed. What was there was quite basic, and we also found a fair amount of inaccuracies in the information. And if BankRolla themselves aren’t able to make the FAQ  make sense, what hope do players have?

Responsible Gaming Measures

Although BankRolla does offer Responsible Gambling tools, the attention paid to this section feels rather tokenistic.

At the time we tested the website, the only options available were temporary and permanent self-exclusion. So, unless you have the willpower to request your access be cut off, there’s no safety net for players to fall back on.

Players should be given access to self-limiting tools like Reality Checks and Spending Limits as standard, as these are much more effective at preventing players from needing temporary or even permanent self-exclusion in the first place.

BankRolla makes a promising first impression with a solid games selection and a solid no deposit welcome bonus. The fact that the casino is very widely available is another sizable positive as well. Yet, this unfortunately doesn’t carry over when the casino is subject to further examination.

There were nowhere near enough bonuses for existing players to use, which meant that the casino squandered what should have been a solid foundation for player retention.

Yet, this pales in comparison to the fact that the casino website crashed frequently when we tried to test it out on a computer. This is simply unacceptable, and honestly, the fact that the casino offered a Bug Bounty sent the message that they expected the casino players to do the job of their development team. This gives the impression that they are either lazy or just outright incompetent. Either way, it’s really not a good look.

The casino shows promise in some areas, but it needs to sort itself out fast if it is to avoid withering away. For now, you are better off looking elsewhere for sweepstakes casino gaming.
